It was girls night out and Marceline was sitting on her couch, strumming her guitar. Bonnibel and Fionna were supposed to pick her up in Bonnie's car.

Marceline heard a HONK! coming from outside and assumed it was Bonnie and Fi.

She stepped into the sleek, silver Ferrari, waving to her friends.

"Are you sure they still have ice cream at 7:00?"

PB had made Fionna change the time, ranting about how she'd miss her late night yoga. Late night yoga.

"Of course! We'll be going to Tree Trunks place. They always have ice cream!"

They arrived at 'Tree Trunk's Cafe & Dinner Open 24 Hours' and looked at the vast amount of ice cream choices.
Upon walking into the parlor, they received many welcoming hellos.

"I think I'll get strawberry."

"Blueberry."

"Bubblegum!"

"I hope it's as sugary sweet as you gals are!" Tree trunks smiled, playing the whole stereotype of sweet southern do-well grandma.

They sat down in one of the 50s style red boothes. "Hey TT! This stuff is great!"

"Yeah, mine is delicious!" Bonnie smiled.

"You're basically eating yourself, Princess Bonnibel." Marceline snickered, leaning back in her chair.

"You guys were right. This was a pretty decent idea," She had said to Fionna and Bonnibel, though she still felt a hint of doubt within her. Why bring down their mood because I'm having a bad day?

"We're always right aren't we?"

~

Marceline wasn't sure who Ashley was. It slightly worried her, even though stuff like this happened all the time.
I shouldn't think too much on it. She's probably really sweet.

She was heading to class when Bonnie and Fi stopped her in her tracks.

"Hey. We've got some bad news concerning Marshall."

She gestured for them to continue.

"They started dating."

Marceline's heart sunk just a bit as they stood in silence for a moment.

"How do you guys hear about this before me? He's my other best friend besides you guys."

Ugh. Might as well laugh it off. It's what I've always done. I mean, Marshall's probably always hooking up with people. Why should it bother me?

"I'm sorry, Marcy." Fi whispered, patting her on the back. Bonnie gave her a sympathetic look.

Marceline sighed and kept walking to class. "It's not that big of a deal." She muttered under her breathe.
