Chapter 2:One Thing

I heard his voice at last, which revitalized me from inside but not speaking to him lead to my dissatisfaction. I was searching for those eyes everywhere but could not find them.

It was two weeks since I had  not seen him. I was searching for him everywhere near the park , gate , lift or even If I had heard some guy's  voice I thought it was him. I didn't have a clarity. Why was I eager to see him? Did I actually start loving him or is it my illusion ?I didn't have an answer.

After a few days I was talking to nithya about it. As I finished she said " Aarushi I know how you are feeling right now , but darling your exams are approaching. You should concentrate on your studies rather than him for now ,  you are the best in school and I want you to top this time too ." After she left I started walking back home while thinking about what she said. I think she's right. I should first concentrate on my exams and later I can figure out about him.

I mentally prepared myself that I'm gonna study and not think about him . The next day I took an off from school so that I could utilize the time in studying and complete my biology portion , I had 16 chapters to study, I started with reproduction in organisms and ended with environmental issues.

I went to the kitchen to make some coffee and walked to my balcony. I took my phone and as I was about to call nitya, I remembered that she had a cultural programme at her school.  Her school was diagonal to my balcony. I was walking in the balcony and chatting with my old friend  when I heard a voice....... a bold voice with a lot of confidence , the same way I speak  . I felt it was familiar but couldn't identify the voice. In the evening after the tuition was over , I asked nitya who was the the compere of today's programme  in school. She smiled at me making me confused for a moment before she said, "It was your crush babe!" I was feeling very happy to hear about him again but couldn't show my excitement.I guess I was even blushing because I could see her smirk from the corner of my eyes.

AFTER A MONTH.

I scored 97% in my 12th boards,the topper of my batch and state . I got my MBBS seat in Mumbai's best college.I was elated about it .My friends asked or I rather say threatened for a party . I was waiting for my parents at the lift because I had to drop them at my aunt's place on my way,when something caught my attention.

Yes, it was him. He was back that too with a surprise . He was shifting into the flat opposite to my house!!

I was just taking in this huge shock when I realized that he had noticed my presence and of course we started with our staring competition but only to be interrupted by my mom who called me inside the lift . I gave him a small smile and escaped.

Finally, I get to see him.

I so wanted to know his name. Nitya had been trying to find out his name from quite a while,but could not succeed .I just hope that in these 2 months I have before
shifting to Mumbai, I have a chance to at least befriend him.
