I couldn't sleep the whole night because Ayaan wouldn't stop blabbering shit for a moment. He would jump from one topic to another and just keep the conversation going. Wait, I would rather say it was a monologue.

Finally, when we reached our destination, I was spell Bound. I had expected what a normal person would expect when they're told about a small village. But this was beyond beautiful. The clean, fresh air filled my lungs while my eyes were trying to capture the serene beauty of this place. The sunrise was exotic. It always is but in a city like Mumbai, we can't actually watch it peacefully. But here it was different. It gave a different vibe. A new hope. A new belief. A new confidence to conquer the world.

" What the hell Ayaan! "

"Shit I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. "

"Ohh yeah ? "

I rolled my eyes at him. Why does he even exist in my life. All he does is eat my head.

"Okay forget that. The rooms have been allotted. Yours is in the backside, towards the garden."

"Okay thanks. When are we starting with the camp?"

"The arrangements will be made by the evening so you're free to do anything till then. Why not explore the village with me?"

Oh my god. I can't bare his blabbering anymore. But I want to see the village. Ughhh.

"Okay."

"What!!!!"

"Are you deaf? I said okay."

"Woah woah. Take some rest. We'll go at around 12?"

"Okay."

My room was beautiful. Not in terms of luxury but in terms of the view from the window. It was away from the main road and towards the huge expanse of fields. There was a glass door which opened into the garden.

"Aarushiiiii!"

"Ohh god kaira. What is it."

"I'm so glad that you finally are going out with Ayaan."

"What the hell! Who told you?"

"Don't try to cover up. Ayaan himself is telling each and everyone that you agreed to go on a date with him today."

Crap. I should have know that he can never be of any help to me. All he can do is put me in trouble.

"No dude. I just agreed to roam the village until the camp is set. Nothing more than that and definitely it isn't a date. I don't even like him that way."

"Aarushi. Why are you being so difficult on yourself. Whatever happened is in the past dude. Don't let it affect you."

"It isn't kaira. It's not even related to that."

"Okay! I won't force you but I really think that you should give Ayaan a chance."

I really didn't know what was going on. I decided that I wouldn't waste my time on these complicated thoughts and feelings and would instead concentrate on the camp and this place.

"Where are you taking me Ayaan?"

"Chill Aarushi. I'm not kidnapping you. I don't even know this place."

"Exactly. Then why are we going this way. You didn't even ask anyone for help."

"Will you just shut up. Don't think much because this small little brain of yours can't take so much stress babe."

"Firstly, I'm not your babe. Secondly, my brain is definitely bigger than yours. And lastly, I will keep calm and won't question so just start walking already."

We walked for a while between the fields, spoke to a few people informing them about the camp and all, etc. Surprisingly for the first time, I liked Ayaan's company. His blabbering wasn't irritating me and his jokes were making me laugh uncontrollably. He was a total different person right now. And I realized that in this particular situation, I would rather not be with anyone else.

We were walking in solace when suddenly it started raining heavily. The cottages we were staying at were close by so we ran to it thereby getting completely wet.

"Okay Ayaan. Thank you for today. I certainly had a good time."

"So our first date is a hit?"

Oh god this guy. I rolled my eyes at him but then ended up smiling.

"Yeah whatever. Bye."

"I'm certainly going to need a cardiologist right now so yeah, bye."

"Such over action, much wow."

He winked at me and left to the guys cottage.

There were actually three cottages. One occupied by the girls, one by the guys and the other was for the Red Cross volunteers. They were supposed to come for helping us out with the camp and also spreading awareness.

"Aarushi!! So how was it? "

"Good."

"Good? That means....... It was a date ?"

"Maybe."

"Holy crap. Wowwwww. Okay we'll talk about this a little later because you have to call the Red Cross people."

"What? Why?"

"The head of their team wants to ask about our arrangements and plans and discuss theirs so we won't have any problem in these few days."

"Oh okay. The senior doctors will be reaching here by tomorrow right? And all other arrangements are made right?"

"Yup. So just call them once."

"Okay."

I was having a strange feeling. I didn't know what it was. Whether it was a positive one or negative, I had no idea at all.

"Hello."

"Hello. Am I speaking to Mr. Jay verma."

"No. Actually he couldn't make it to the camp due to some personal issues so I'm heading it. Are you the junior doctor in charge?"

"Yeah that's me. So the camp is set and we're opening it in another 2 hours. There are 5 other junior doctors with me right now and the senior doctors will be arriving tomorrow early in the morning............"

We discussed all the necessary stuff for another hour and I even after speaking to that person, I couldn't get rid of the strange feeling. A feeling that something huge is going to happen. And to top it all, the person I spoke to reminded me of Aarav. But obviously, it can't be him right.

Or can it be him?

Is that a possibility?
