Chapter 5

    So this is just a message before the chapter. I've decided to do two chapters with 500-600 words in them each month. Sorry if this isn't what you want but its easier for me and my simi-bussy schedual. Thx for your understanding and thx for reading my book. Bye for now!

 >Hey Park, can you come out here for a sec?< My beta Alexander asks through our mind link.

  >I can't Alex. I've got stuff going on.< I answer.

  >Whatever you've got going on can't be as important as this Alpha we need you done here.<

  >Trust me it is. Just get Chris to do it.< Chris being my Gamma.

  >It has to be you.< He says, angering me.

  >What could be so FUCKING important that you need to interrupt my business < I ask angrily.

   Mentally he slinks back from me. >We had a break in the west security lines and two rogues got in. Neither one seems hostile and they want to talk to you.<

  >Fine. I'll be down there in a couple minutes.< I close the mind link and look at Rain, who's curled in a ball, shaking.

   I move towards him slowly as to not startle him. I put my hand on his back and he pulls away, his bandaged leg sticking out at an odd angel. My wolf howls painfully in my head. Closing the small distance between us I wrap my arms around him protectively.

  At first he struggled to get away but soon realised I meant no harm. We laid together for a while before I remembered I had something to do. I say up and looked at Rain.

  "I've got to go do something. I'll be back soon, okay? Don't go anywhere." I say, standing up. He nods his head and I leave the room. Once outside I shift into my grey wolf and head to the  west boarder of my pack lands.

   Two blond wolves, smelling of rogue, stand the middle of my security team, looking as if there just here for a chat. That's never good. I shift back into human form and command the two to shift also.

   Both wolves turn out to be males, both look like Rain. We all stand looking at each other. 

  "Who are you?" I ask of the two men.

  "We are Rains family. We've come to take him back. Hand him over and all will be well." The older male answers. I'm assuming that he is Rains father.

  "So, your the jackass who tortured  my little Rain for so many years. You should really rethink coming onto my territory and demanding things that don't belong to you, because now your dealing with a pissed off Alpha male and his pack. Get off my land before I personally rip your throat out." I growl, anger rising with every word.

  "Demanding things that aren't mine? Considering that he is my boy that makes him my property. Now give him back before I bring in my whole pack to destroy you." The older man growls back.

  I shift back into my wolf form and charge the old bastard. He shifts at the last second and we meet head on. I snap at his neck and he just barely avoids the killing blow. He bites my paw, leaving his underside unprotected. I stick my other uninjured paw underneath him and shred his belly. Howls of pain reach my ears but I don't care. Pushing with my back paws, I launch the old fucker into a tree next to the other man.

   The younger man shifts and both take off running.

  If this is written at the top, sorry but I wanted to make sure this message made its way onto this chapter. For a while im going to write two short chapters each month each with a bout 500-600 words in them. This will make it easier for me to update every month and it will just be easier to write two small chapters instead of one long one.
