Chapter 7

Rain starts crying as Starshine runs towards him.Grabbing Rains bag, I step out of the room and close the door, giving the two time to reconnect.

>Blaze, Zane. Meet me in my office in ten minutes. < I mind link them.

>Yes, Alpha.< They link back.

I walk to my office, thinking. Upon reaching my office I find Blaze and Zane already waiting on me. I settle myself into my desk chair.

''These are all of my mates posesions.'' tell the guys, holding up the beaten green backpack. ''I need you guys to go out and get some new things for him. I would take Rain out myself, but he cant walk.''

''So, you just want us to get some new clothes and things for him?'' Zane asks.

''Yes. Now go, ive got important things to do.'' I growl.

Both men jump up and scurry out the door. I pull out some document ive neglected to take care of and set to work.

*Rain's P.O.V*

Parker walkes in with a vegualy familiar girl. Memories flash at me.

''Come on Rai! We're gonna be late to class!'' a little girl yells at me.

''I dont even go to the same school as you!'' I yell back.

"Happy birthday Star.'' I yell, holding up a hand made cake.

''Thank you Rai.'' a younger girl says.

"Star?'' I whisper.

"Yeah, its me Rai.'' she answers.

I start crying as she runs towards me, remembering a childhood that should have been mine but is so distant from what I know to be real.

''How do I know you?'' I ask to myself.

''We were best friends before you left.'' she says, tears streaming down her cheeks.

''But thats not real.'' I mummble. ''That cant be real. How do I know you? How do you know me?'' My voice grows louder with every word untill im almost yellling.

White hot, blistering pain sears through my leg. I scream and the girl jumps back. I pull back the blanket and see blood stained cloth wrapped around my calf and bloody sheets under it.

Deep red seeps through the cloth and onto the sheets rather quickly.

''Please, Quin! Don't hurt my baby! Im sure he didn't mean to interupt you, right Rain? Right?'' a familiar woman screams, tears running down her face.

''He needs to learn his leson, Alice. If he dosen't he'll grow up to be an ungrateful bitch, like his mother.'' a man twice her size growls.

A boot lands in my side with a sickening crunch. Pain explodes through my small body. More kicks rain down on me, immence pain following each one.

I apologise for not updating in a while. My schedual has been pretty hectic, ive been trying to finish my website for class, I only have like ten days to finish two whole pages plus write a process paper, which takes up a lot of time, also ive been preparing for a trip to my states capitol to page for one of our reprezentitives and have to be at my school at 5:30 in the morning, ill be missing all my classes for that day, then the day after I'm going to miss half my classes to go to the next town over to watch You're a Good Man Charley Brown, and the next day, a Saturday, I have regionals at FSCC for the website that im working on.
