(Rains P.O.V)
A gurney wheels by my hospital room. I smell rather than see Parker on the bed.
A whimper escapes me and I jump out of my hospital bed, ignoring the blinding pain in my leg. Star jumps up at my side and tries to get me back into the bed.
"You need rest Rain." she says, pushing down on my shoulders to sit me back down. "You've already ripped out your stitches once, we don't want you doing that again. And anyway, I'm sure whatever it is you saw outside can wait for a little while."
I shake my head wildly and attempt to stand up again. She keeps me firmly in place, not a hard task considering she's twice my size, and gives me a small glare.
Something deep inside me whines and I feel it move slightly in my head. A pained howl resonates in my head, bouncing off my skull. A dark gray and white wolf, so skinny that it's ribs show, lays in a dark part of my head, howling in pain, but not a physical pain. He's howling about his mate being in pain.
>R-rain?-< Parkers voice rings in my head. Pain contorts it but it's still clearly him.
Small tears flow down my face and my shaggy brown hair sticks to my face. The wolf raises its head, sadness still evident in his eyes, a newfound happiness filling him.
>You found your wolf. He's so pretty, just like you.< I blush a bit and sense him smile sort of.
A phantom black wolf circles the gray wolf. The gray wolf stands and runs his head against the black wolf.
'What happened to you, Parker.' I think sadly.
>Simon happened. I killed him, but he wasn't the Alpha. Someone jumped at me and knocked me out. I guess Quinton was the real Alpha. From what I've heard Blaze killed Quinton so we don't have to worry about him anymore.< he says, a bit of anger in his words.
'S-so, my father's dead?' I ask, small tears picking my vision.
>Yes. I'm sorry baby.< he says.
'It's okay, it had to be done. Besides, he was awful to me anyway. How are you now?'
>Blacked out in a hospital room.< he says calmly.
'Wait, what? I have to come see you.' I say, finality in my words.
"Star. We need to find Parker. He's in a hospital room somewhere and I need to see him." I say, lots of anger infused in my words.
"Yes, Luna." she says, bowing her head.
Soon an orderly arrives at my door with a wheel chair in hand. After settling down in the chair, Starshine pushes me to Parkers room. He is laying spread out across the entire ved, just bearly fitting. A heart monitor beeps his heart beat to the entire room.
I sit right next to his bed, still in my wheel chair. One of my hands rests on one of his, gripping tightly.
