The Favor

Aisuru clung staunchly to the pillow, keeping her arms wrapped around it so it was parallel to her body. It was also, conveniently, keeping her body from making much contact with Law's bare chest. The arousing tingles generated from his devil fruit were not what she wanted at the moment: she had quite enough of them earlier.

"No! It's mine, I stole it!" She laid on her back, Law above her with one hand supporting himself on the bed, the other tugging lightly on the pillow.

"You still have to defend the things you steal." He reasoned, trying to pry her fingers away, "Besides, you know it's not the pillow I want."

"Well," She puffed out her cheeks, "You still haven't paid me for earlier, so you can't have anymore. I'm not a bank, and I demand immediate payment - no credit!"

Law rolled his eyes. "And I'm not some pharmacists who gives free medical advice."

"Well, my body is worth more." She stuck her tongue out at him, holding the pillow tighter. She wasn't accustomed to a person who wanted unlimited access to her without thought of payment or trade. Medical things didn't count, because she hated them. She had to admit that Bepo was right, and Law made needles less icky, but they were still icky.

Doctors, she groused mentally. No matter how much fun Trafalgar Law was to tease, he was still a doctor. Although, at least this doctor seemed to enjoy just talking to her sometimes.

"Hah?" He poked her cheek, "Where did you get that idea? The Ope-ope fruit alone is worth five billion bery."

"Well that's dumb." Aisuru pouted, puffing out her cheeks again.

Law sighed, sitting up. He still had her pinned, sitting squarely on her hips. Things were obviously not going in his favor. "Aisuru-ya, it's getting late. Can we go to sleep now?"

"Only if I get to keep the pillow." she sulked. Most of her still wanted to share space with Law, but the rest of her wanted to go sleep with Bepo. She hadn't quite gotten over the embarrassment of that afternoon, and didn't know how to tell him. After all, she did typically behave that way, so why would he think his actions were anything to worry about?

"Oi, I don't care about the pillow." He flopped down on the bed beside her. "You're the one who brought it up. Aisuru-ya, you've been distant since lunch. Did I upset you?"

She shook her head vigorously, scooting away from him. She turned, keeping the pillow between them. "That's a silly question. Why would you ask a question like that?" It wasn't as though she had been completely caught off guard. It definitely wasn't because of anything that she had been through. It couldn't be that. Absolutely not.

He raised an eyebrow, rolling to face her. He supported his head with his hand, elbow on the bed, and reached for her. She flinched, then glared at him as he let his hand fall to the bed.

"That's why. And thus far, you have refused to talk about it. I was surprised to find you here tonight, since I assumed you would sleep with Bepo-ya." His tone was even and soft.

Aisuru sighed. Stupid doctors, always trying to fix things! "It was really embarrassing, okay? Way beyond any kind of teasing I've ever done to you." She picked at the corner of the pillow absently. "It would have been one thing if it had been just me and you, but in front of the whole crew? I didn't have any warning, or anything, you just did that..."

"I'm sorry." Aisuru was surprised to note that he sounded sincere. "I didn't think about it fully. It seemed to me that if I did nothing, you would continue your... Lewd behaviour with the crew, and I was not - am not okay with that."

She bashed him with the pillow. "Then say so, brat!" She hit him again for good measure, and continued until he was flat on the bed. Aisuru sat cross legged in front of him. "You've never said you wanted more of me than obedience," her voice lost power, and the pillow lay to the side. "All I can give you is what you ask for, okay? And until tonight, I haven't gotten more than 'obey me'. There has been nothing that would tell me you would be jealous if I teased other people. In fact, you told me you had nothing to be jealous of."

Law sighed. "I meant to change that this afternoon."

"Well, you did."

"Alright, but I didn't mean to make you uncomfortable."

"Well, you did." She crossed her arms, scowling at him. "How are you going to make it better? You know what's wrong, so how do you plan on fixing it, doctor of mine?"

Although her tone was petulant and mocking, a small smile worked its way to Law's face. "What was that favor you wanted?"

She stuck her tongue out at him. "I don't want it now."

"Oh, well." He rolled over, pulling the blanket around his shoulders, "I guess we can forget about it then. Would you turn off the light?"

Aisuru pouted, caught between really wanting the thing and not wanting to give in to Law. She waited for a bit, to see if he would change his mind. Apparently he wasn't going to. She fell on him, resting her chin on his shoulder. She heard him smirking even though she couldn't see it on his face. "I wanna go to Prith."

"Prith?" The smirk was gone. He turned to lay flat once more, grey eyes watching her closely. "What do you need from Prith?"

She fidgeted. "I left something important there... And I really want it back. I went through all the trouble to hide it and protect it and everything..."

Law sat up, holding her jaw in one hand. "What did you leave there?"

"Well..." She didn't want to tell him. She really wanted him to be surprised when she gave it to him."Something I stole. It's not that valuable, as far as market goes, but I think it's worth having."

"What. Is. It?"

"Do you need to take that tone?" She pleaded, touching the hand holding her face. "Law... I have killed for you. I almost died trying to protect this crew. My crew. I'm sorry I don't have a clean record. I'm sorry I thought having a family was a good idea. I'm sorry I didn't meet you before Doflamingo. Haven't I done enough to prove myself?" Just what you know that I've done. I shouldn't have to say anything else.

He adjusted his hand to a gentler grip, leaning his forehead against hers. "I'm sorry. Yes, you have. The idea of going to Prith isn't one I like, Aisuru-ya."

"You don't even have to get off the ship," she assured him, cupping his face in both hands. "I have some ends to tie up there, some hearts to break. But I'll come back, just me and the thing I want. No one needs to know you're there. Okay? Let's get some sleep."

She turned the lights out, crawling back in beside Law. He pulled her close to his chest, holding her as if he were afraid to let go. Aisuru had more or less grown accustomed to being engulfed by the static tingles that Law's touch caused her. In the right context, they were still quite arousing and exciting, but at times like these she just appreciated the constant hum. At times like these, she just felt... Safe. She kissed his neck, drawing out a deep sigh.

Aisuru had to forgive him for his suspicion. Prith was not a regular stop for any seafarers. It was a destination you needed an alibi for. But she had left something special there, and she wanted to give it to her captain.

Her captain who had offered to take care of her if she obeyed him.

If she served him.

She didn't know that meant she served only him, from that point on. Aisuru had never considered having an exclusive relationship before, but she was excited and curious to find out what it entailed... So far, it seemed to be a lot of cuddles and small touches, and those seemed to be reserved for just the two of them... And it didn't seem to involve sex at all, which she found fascinating and comforting.

"Law?"

"Hm?"

"Do you really want me all to yourself?"

"All of you." He agreed with a yawn.

She hummed, nuzzling closer.
