Cats POV-
"Why do people call you Cat?" Steven asks.
"Because that's my nickname." I answer softly. I was laying on Ally's lap on the couch. She basically lifted my head so she could sit down and dropped it on her lap. I didn't mind it though.
"What's your real name?"
"Catherine." I guess I never told him what my real name was.
"Who gave you the nickname Cat?" He asks yet another question. This time I didn't want to answer it.
"Stop asking her questions Steven. Leave her alone." Ally cuts in.
"I just wanna know!" He defends himself. I roll my eyes. There's not a day when they don't argue with each other.
"A old friend gave it to me. People used to call me Cathy." I answer so they would shut up. Steven stayed silent after that. I guess he was done asking questions. Minutes later he went upstairs to his room.
"I'm sorry about that. You didn't have to answer that you know." Ally speaks up.
"It's fine." I sigh. I didn't really care. It was all in the past now.
**
The fact that it's almost Christmas upsets me. It upsets me because that also means winter break is almost over. That also means I have to go back to school. And school is hell.
"Clara! Catherine!" My mother yelled using our full names.
"What?!" Me and Clara both respond. Our parents thought that me and her should spend time together since we barely ever see each other anymore. All we did was watch spongebob.
"Oh, there you girls are. Your father and I are going to run some errands. Catherine, if you get hungry, there's some pasta left from last night." My mother quickly explains.
"What if I get hungry?" Clara asks in shock. My mum looks at her sternly as if saying she knows why she said what she said.
"Clara you know that you only eat three times a day like a normal person." My mum sighs.
"So are you saying I'm not normal?" I interject.
"That's exactly what I'm saying. Bye girls, love you." She waves is off and leaves out the front door. I huff in disbelief.
"You know you're normal Cat don't pay attention to her," My dad comes in and kisses me and my sister both on the head. "Bye girls."
"So what are we gonna do now?"I ask as dad shuts the door.
"Are you okay?" Clara blurts turning to face me.
"What do you mean? I'm fine." I look at her in confusion.
"Haven't you heard?" She asks quietly. I took that as a sign saying I need to look on Tumblr because whatever she's talking about, it'll be there.
I take my phone from the side table and unlock it. I look at Clara again and she looks away. What's her problem? I open the app and instantly I see what she was talking about. I felt the tears threatening to spill out of my eyes. My breathing became abnormal. Before I even realized it, I threw my phone across the room not caring if I cracked it and ran upstairs. I slam my door shut then lock it. Maggie was surprisingly in my room. I guess she could sense that I was upset because she jumped up on my bed and laid beside me. I cried into my pillow like the baby I was.
I get it, we broke up. Whatever it's been almost a month since. I get why he has already found a new love interest. What bugs me is the way he looks at her. Why bugs me is how he kisses her. What really bugs me is how pretty she is. She's way more prettier than I would ever be.
