"He's kept you in again?" Said the gentle voice of an red hair Elleth who was more than oft his companion.

Legolas nods. "He doesn't understand anything Sil, " He says to his friend and lover Silmë who sits down besides him. "And I'm afraid now he never will."  The Elf prince sighs, glancing down to the green of the garden.

"Give it time my love," Silmë says softly, kissing his cheek gently. "And I'm sure eventually everything will be understood."

Legolas nods slowly, staying quiet for a moment. "I'm going back." He says determinedly after a while.  "But what of your father?" Silmë  says in concern. "If he finds out"... She says, shaking her head slightly.

"The people need help Sil," Legolas replies. "I cannot deny it to them for rules." "But he is your father," Silmë says. "As well as your king. " She sighs.

"I did not obey when he told me to stop loving you, for my heart said you were the one. " The prince says. "And I will not stop helping the people of Laketown for I know it is right as well, despite what others think."

Silmë nods, knowing once Legolas set his mind to something there was no going back. "When will you go?" She asks him, knowing she'd have to keep cover for him.

He thinks for a moment. "Tomorrow ere the sun falls I will go and shall return home  the morn." Legolas tells her. Slipping his hand gently into hers.

"I will keep watch for you and cover until then." Silmë says in reply, wanting to help her lover. He nods, looking her softly in the eyes with gratefulness and love. She smiles gently, wrapping her arms around him in an embrace.  Resting her head on his shoulder.

"Regrettably I must go," Legolas says softly, giving her a short, gentle kiss. "My father will become suspicious if I do not return to my duties." "I will met you later my love." Silmë says gently in the Elven tongue. He nods, slowly getting up to leave her presence . He would return to Laketown, whether his father or the master wanted it so or not.
