Alfrid roughly yanked Legolas' arm and dragged him to the door. "You'd get out of town if you knew what was best for you. Green Hood." He threatened. "It's Leif the Green." Legolas says. "And you will do well to remember it for you will be hearing it a lot more." Alfrid shoved Legolas causing him to almost lose his balance on the steps.

Legolas dusted off his shoulders ( from the Alfrid germs, not dust mind you ) with a glare at Alfrid as the weasel of a man slammed the door in his face. The Elf huffed at the present situation but continued on his way though this somewhat unwelcoming town. He walked on until he saw a man who's house was being watched. The man and his family didn't look like criminals so he was curious as to why they were.

When the man came to his area he politely pulled him aside. At first he was surprised but did no harm to Legolas once he saw that he had good intentions. "Why is your house being watched if I may ask good sir?" Legolas says in a whisper so only the man can here. "Because the master thinks it is a crime to help others, including your own family by good, honest work." The man replied in the same, hushed tone.

"What is it that you do?" Legolas asks.

"I am but a simple bargeman, none are harmed by what I do. Except the master's pride. For he is afraid that the people will get ride of him because of me."

The blonde Elf nods. "Is there anything I can do to help you?" He questions. The man shook his head. "Afraid not, but thank you just the same." "If there's ever anything I can, let me know." Legolas tells him. The man nods in agreement. "What do they call you?" The man asks, wanting to know Legolas' name. "I am Leif the Green." The prince tells him. "Bard, Bard the bargeman." The man named Bard told him.

"It was nice to meet you." Legolas says to Bard. "And the same to you." Bard tells him with a nod before returning to his home. Legolas continued his way through and out of the town. He had seen enough for one day, but he would be coming back. That's what he knew for sure. The Elf then walked his way to Mirkwood, back to his father's Realm. Little did Legolas know that the master back in Laketown was plotting his next move for revenge on the green Hooded traveler who had so deeply offended him.
