"oh, uh yeah! yeah, I guess I did..." I stuttered out. I felt so nervous around him. I thought that it might be because of him already being somewhat famous and all, but it felt like it was more than just that. "Well you seem really cool, and I'm looking forward to working with you." He smiled. "yeah, you too!" I returned the smile.
He then walked off to one of his friends.

After the meeting was over, I walked outside, waiting for my ride to show up. My mother was usually always on time, which was weird now that she wasn't. I sighed and leaned up against the brick wall in front of the building. Just then the same boy that I was talking to earlier, Jaeden, walked up to me. "your ride late too?" He chuckled, leaning his back up against the wall as well.
"yep" I breathed out. "hey, this is like totally off topic, but since we're working together, I wanted to know if you would maybe like to exchange digits?" He asked. "mmm, blaming it on the work. Very smooth." I chuckled. "here, gimme your phone." I said. He accepted and handed it to me. I then typed in my phone number and added a quick contact picture.
He did the same with my phone as my mom's car drove up. "cool, I guess i'll see you soon?" yep. I handed him back his phone and smiled "see ya around".
As I approached the car, I looked inside not only to see that my mother wasn't in it, but it was my brother. "sorry, mom was busy cooking so she sent me." he said. "its fine, how was school?" I asked him. My brother got in to a little trouble during school this year, so he was forced to join summer school for awhile.
"same as everyday, how was the meeting?" he asked, keeping his eyes on the road. "oh it was great! I met some really amazing people." I replied. He simply nodded. Silence fell for abput 3 minutes. Then he spoke up.
"Who is he." he sternly asked, more like stated. "excuse me?" I asked, clearly confused. "The boy you were talking to. Who is he." He repeated. "Oh, nobody, just a co-worker." I said, feeling a lump in my throat. "You know if he's like one of the other boys i'll-" I cut him off, "Mike, it's fine. He's really sweet. Not like the other guys."
he nodded.
A few months ago I had a relationship with a guy who apparently didn't even love me. He broke my heart and I'm still getting over it. That's why Michael is so over-protective when it comes to boys.
But I knew that Jaeden wasn't like that. There was just something about him that seemed so sweet and kind. Like when I looked into his eyes, I could feel it.
god, I barely know the guy and I'm already head-over-heels for em'
