I forgot how tears could burn running down my rosy cheeks
I forgot about the dizziness in my head and the thoughts that overwhelm and consume me
I forgot about that tingling feeling in my veins leaving me paralyzed
And the slight shake in my fingers that turn into cold shivers
I forgot about that demons in my rib cage that enclose my lungs
Leaving me fighting for each breath
Its been a while since youve made your presence known
But tonight Im not letting you stay
My heart belongs to me
Im not letting you in again
My walls are higher
My doors are sealed tighter
You my have your hand over my lungs
But Id rather suffocate to death than give you my heart
