As she hung there
Naked and vulnerable
With a necklace of rope
She waited for redemptionSomeone to cut the ties
Loosen the noose
To save her from destruction
Her own demiseHe sat there watching
Taking in her agony
Watching her burn
Watching her break
As minutes pastHe encouraged her
With words of hope
No
Words of hate
Of hurt
Of deathShe waited
And pleaded
She fought
And arguedAs she hung there
Naked and vulnerable
With a necklace of rope
Waiting for redemptionSomeone to open the door
Someone that will find her on the floor
Someone that will breathe life back into herHe watched her slowly give in
Give up the fight
He watched her believe his lies
And fall for her own demise
