That night, Mike goes to Dustin's house.
They were still his friend.
"Will seems so happy Mike... maybe it is time to move on."
"I'm not moving on until he tells me we're done."
Dustin sighed. "Have fun with that."
"Will do."
They sit in silence for a moment.
"I miss when we were 12... everything was so care free, and we didn't even know how love worked. Yet, we fell so hard into it. I remember when he first said he liked me." Mike smiled at the memory.
"All history now."
"Yeah, history."

The next day at school, Mike sees Will with that Kole kid. He rolled his eyes and kept walking.
First period was so bland, he sighed.
He goes to use the bathroom and sees Will, trying to open his locker. The halls were empty.
He rushes over, Will not hearing.
He takes a deep breath and pins Wills hands over his head as he turns around.
"What the hell are you doing Mike?" Wills cheeks turned colored.
"We need to talk. Promise me you won't leave."
"Promise."
Mike let's go.
"I need closure, if you're gonna be with Kole, I want to hear something. Are we still a thing, or are we not? I'm so tired of waiting for an answer." Mike says blankly.
Will looks up at the other boys eyes.
"I think it's time we end it." He whispered.
"Okay." Mike takes a deep breath, tears filling his eyes.
"I can finally have some peace without you in my thoughts."
"You think about me?" Will asks, but Mike was already walking away.
