On this auspicious day,
I'm thankful for the meal I'll have today..
A leg of dark meat,
a breast of white..
Eyeballs and cranberries,
just wet my appetite..
An apple stuffed,
in the mouth of the dead..
I'm grateful for the tenderness,
of grandmas meaty ribs..
On this holiday,
more then all the rest..
I'm eternally grateful,
to the family Im sharing this day with..
So Happy Thanksgiving,
to one and all..
Don't forget to check your peephole,
you never know who will come to call..- C. Pantoja
