Dare

stevidotshipper: Ok, Steven steal peridots visor*somehow maybe if she sleeps* and wear it until she notices!

Steven: Hey Peridot. Whens the last time you went to sleep.
Peridot: Um......I cant exactly recall. Maybe a week ago?
Steven: Oh, that's horrible. I thought you liked sleeping.
Peridot: Um i do i just felt very tired lat-
Steven: You know what, you should take a nap right now. I'll let you borrow my bed.
Peridot:.....Why?
Steven: J-Just because.
Peridot:........Your weird, but ok. I guess it wouldn't hurt to get some extra energy.
Steven: See? Great.
Peridot gave him one last suspicious look before she shook her head and headed up the stairs. Steven sighed in relief. He wasn't very good at pretending. He just wanted Peridot to go to sleep so he could take her visor.
      Once Peridot was asleep Steven sneakily made his way to his bed. He then very carefully snatched the visor off her face. Peridot stirred slitghtly making Steven freeze in his spot. Peridot rubbed her face before turning onto her side. Steven sighed in relief and rushed downstairs before he could get caught.
Steven: Whoo. Good thing she didn't wake up.
Steven put the visor on and scrunched his face at how everything looked. Everything he saw was a tinted yellow and green and you could easily tell she hadn't cleaned it in a while because everything was a little foggy.
Steven: She walks around like this?
It wasn't too bad but it was strange. What was the point of wearing this thing anyway. Steven saw Peridot without her visor once or twice and he thought she looked really cute and pretty without it. Especially because he could see her bright blue eyes which were always tinted green because of the visor.
He wondered if she would even notice. Peridot was very smart so he figured that she'd notice the minute she woke up and saw him.
Time skip.
An hour passed by and Peridot finally woke up from her nap. She stood up and stretched out her limbs before walking down the stairs. Steven was sitting by the kitchen on his phone.
Steven: Oh Peridot. Your awake. Did you sleep well?
Peridot: Uh, yea. That was a great idea you had Steven. Now I feel much more recharged than before. In fact I feel like going and watching a whole season of CPH over again or I could make some more meep morps.
Peridot continue to ramble on with her new energy driving her on and Steven just sat and waited for her to say something but she never did. He was very surprised. Maybe if he makes it more noticeable then she'll say something.
Steven: That's great Peridot. But......do you notice anything different maybe.
Peridot thought for a second and shrugged.
Peridot: No. why?
Steven held back a laugh as he smiled at Peridot.
Steven: No reason.
Peridot: Ok. Anwway blah blah blah.
Steven just stared at Peridot in amusement still waiting for her notice the visor on his face but she still didn't say anything. He slightly hoped she wouldn't notice so that  he could continue to look into her beautiful blue eyes.
Peridot: What do you think Steven?
Steven: Oh, um what?
Peridot: Hey! You weren't even listening!
Steven: Sorry, I-Its just you look so pretty.
Peridot crossed her arms and stared at Steven for a few seconds in confusion.
Steven: What?
Peridot: Wait a minute.
Peridot got closer to Steven and grabbed his face.
Peridot: Why do you have my visor!
Steven finally burst out laughing while Peridot stood in utterly confused.
Steven: It was a dare. I took it while you were sleeping and waited for you to notice.
Peridot: Very funny, now give it back.
Steven:...........No.
Peridot: What?! Steven!
Steven: You have to catch me first.
      Steven turned around and ran quickly around the temple while Peridot followed close behind.
Peridot: Steven get back here!
Peridot continued to chase Steven around the temple until he tripped and fell to the ground. Peridot ended of falling on top of him from the sudden stop. The two stared at each other until they burst out into laughter.
Steven: Alright fine. You caught me.
Peridot: Thank you.
Steven handed Peridot her visor which she gladly took.
Steven: But I think you look so much prettier without it.
Peridot: Really?
Steven: Yea. It's a shame you have to put it on so fast.
Peridot looked at her visor and sighed in defeat.
Peridot: Ok. It wouldn't hurt to keep them off for a day.
Steven smiled as Peridot set the visor down next to them.
Steven: Great. Now I can look at your beautiful blue eyes more.
Peridot blushed as Steven placed a kiss on her cheek.
