Friday, finally!
I've been waiting for this day all week!
"You got any plans for the weekend?'' Zack asks me with a smile.
I shake my head, "No, not really. Why?"
He shrugs, "No reason."
I have the feeling he was about to ask me out, but he backed out.
I kinda feel sorry for him.
He told me a few days ago he liked me a lot and that he wanted to get to know me some more.
It surprised me a little and I had no idea how to react to it, so I just told him I only like him as a friend.
I was worried I gave him the wrong impressing when we first met, but he said it was his own mind that played tricks with him.
I told him we could still be friends, if he wanted that.
As awkward as it seems, I'm glad he wanted that.
Though the atmosphere between us has changed.

After dinner I walk back to my room and find James and Annabelle hanging out there.
"Hi guys! I thought you were going on a date tonight?' I say as I grab something to drink from the miniature refrigerator in our room.
"We were about to go, but then we looked outside." Annabelle states as she points to the window.
I look outside and see that it's storming.
"Ahw bummer. I like this kind of weather though." I say with a smile, "What are you gonna do now?"
"We.." James says as he puts his arm around Annabelle, "Are staying here and watch a movie. And you..."
"Have to get the heck out?'' I finish his sentence with a grin.
James gives me thumbs up.
"Where do I go?!" I ask him, raising my eyebrow.
"You can keep Kendall company, if you want?" Annabelle suggest.
I shrug, grab my drink and walk outside, "Don't do anything I wouldn't doooo!"

I find my way to the guy's section of the building and find James and Kendall's room.
I knock on the door three times and lean with my hand against the wall.
The door opens and I see a confused Kendall looking at me,
"Hi. James and Annie sent me here." I say with a grin.
"Aaah I get it. Come on in!" Kendall says as he steps aside.
"So, what are you up to?" I ask as I sit down on James' bed, looking around.
Kendall sits down on his own bed and points at the TV, "I was actually about to watch a movie!"
I sit up straight, "Awesome, which one?"
Kendall scratches the back of his head, "Yeah I think you're not wanna watch it. It's The Ring."
I shrug, "I'm fine watching it."
"You said you hated horror movies!" Kendall reminds me.
"Doesn't mean I can't watch them!" I joke.
"Fair enough." he says as he pushes the DVD in and presses play.
He walks over to the light switch, turns off the lights, grabs a soda for me and a beer for himself and opens a bag of popcorn.

I grab James' pillow and sigh as the movie begins
I hear Kendall chuckling and he gets up.
He sits down next to me, putting the bowl of popcorn in front of us.
"I don't want you to get scared." he says with a neutral face pointed at the screen, taking a sip of his beer.
"I swear to the Universe; if someone calls one of us after this movie ends, I'm gonna faint." I say with wide eyes.
(A/N: if you don't know The Ring, you don't get the 'getting a call after watching a film' reference, sorry xD)

The storm is getting worse and I hear some thunder.
"Promise me we watch a fun movie after this?" I mumble in my pillow as I close my eyes for the 50th time.
Kendall looks at me and smiles, "I've got Scott Pilgrim available for you, if you'd like?"
"Yes, yes that's good." I chuckle.
I bury my face into the pillow as the screen turns black and I hear some creepy noises.
I lean against Kendall and feel his hand gently grabbing mine.
He gives it a little squeeze and he chuckles.
"It's not funny." I pout, still buried my face into the pillow.
"You have to admit it kinda is." he states, "it's over by the way."
I look up from the pillow and see the end credits and sigh, "Phew that was awful."
Kendall finishes his second, or third, beer and chuckles, "You're awful!"

Suddenly I hear a phone buzz and my heartbeat goes up.
"This isn't a funny joke, Kendall. I mean it." I say with a frightened look.
"I'm not doing anything!" he says as he looks for our phones.
He walks over to his nightstand, grabs his phone and is about to answer it.
"No, don't answer it. We're gonna die in seven days!" I practically freak out.
Kendall raises an eyebrow, "[Y/N], it's just a movie. And it's James calling by the way."
He answers the phone call, mumbles a few times and hangs up.
"No dying in seven days?" I ask.
He shakes his head and laughs, "Nope! So no worries."
I sigh, "Good. What was that all about with James? Are they okay?"
Kendall smirks, "Yeah they're more than okay actually. He told me he'd crash at her room tonight."
"Whaaat? I'm no gonna lie in between that tonight." I say, frowning.
Kendall laughs, "You don't have to, you can sleep here. If you want."
"I don't have much of a choice, do I?" I chuckle.
Kendall shakes his head, "Nope."

We watch Scott Pilgrim vs The World as the storm continues to go on.
"I like this kind of weather, it's cozy." I say as look outside.
Kendall pauses the film, "I know right. You know what makes it even better?"
I shake my head.
"A warm cup of tea." he smiles as he walks over to the kettle and begins to pour in some water.
"Very true Kendall." I agree with him.
After a few minutes he makes the tea and with his back turned to me he says; "Can I ask you something? It might be weird, but I just wanna know."
I frown, "Uh yeah sure. what is it?"
Kendall chuckles a little, "I couldn't help noticing that you're wearing over knee socks with your uniform in stead of tights. Why?"
"Why would you notice that?! Are you creeping on me?! Or is it the alcohol talking?" I laugh.
His back is still turned to me and he scratches the back of his head again, "No, no! I just, you know, saw it when you sat down on the bed. Sorry, it does sound like I'm a creep. And nope I'm not drunk!"
I chuckle, "It's fine, I was just messing with you. I wear them because I strongly dislike thights. I can't really explain why, but I do."
Kendall turns to me with two mugs of hot tea, "Fair enough. And sorry, again."
I smile, take the mug and ensure him that it's totally fine.
"James doesn't want me to wear them. He thinks it's too provoking." I state as I sip my tea.
Kendall chuckles, "I understand where he's coming from, cause he's all protective over you. But if you wanna wear them, you should. I like them."
I raise an eyebrow at him and he blushes a little.
"I didn't mean it!" he tries.
"Oh so you don't like them?!" I tease.
"I do like them, stop confusing me!" he pouts.
"You're just confusing yourself here, mister. I'm just wearing clothes. I can't help it you get confused by them!" I laugh as I take another sip.
The thunder and lightning strikes again and lights the dark room for a moment.
I shiver because I'm actually not too fond of thunder.
Kendall pulls me closer to him and sighs.
"What is it?" I mumble as I lean against him.
"I don't like them." he mumbles as his hand slides over my leg, shoving away my skirt, up to the top end of my sock.
I feel his fingers on my leg, just above my knee.
He's touching the top of my over knee sock, he's buried his face in my hair, his lips touching my neck and mumbles, "I love them."
