First of all a little note: I did not write this chapter myself. A lovely follower (@LaraJadeSchmidt) offered me to write the last few chapters of my unfinished stories for me. If the writing style is slightly different; that's why.

Massive thanks to her for volunteering, so you can all have a proper ending to this story eventually!

--------------------------

I met Kendall in the hall. He took my hand in his as we walked out and to the ice rink. We got our skates and Kendall looked at me unsure.

“Maybe we should just go to a movie…” he said before putting on his skates.

“Why?” I laughed.

“Well… you know… my ankle hurts…” he said. I looked at him through squinted eyes.

“You can’t skate!” I said calling him out.

“What?! Pssh, I can! I just… you know, my ankle,” he said. I rolled my eyes and went out on the rink alone. A girl came up to me and smiled,

“I’m Carrie, you?” she asked.

“[Y/N]” I said smiling back at her. She motioned over to Kendall,

“Boyfriend doesn’t know how to skate?” she asked.

“Nope, and he’s lying to me,” I smirked.

“I know a way to get him out here…” she said smirking. “Yo, Edward!” she yelled. A tall, lanky man with black hair skated his way over. “She’d like a dance,” she said.

“Come with me,” he smiled, a hint of Italian in his voice. He grabbed my hand and we skated out. He spun me and when I looked up Kendall was right in front of us.

“Excuse us…” Kendall said and took my hand.

“Well… what took you so long?” I smirked. He smiled down at me and pulled me with him. He glided gracefully across the ice and I looked at him confused when we walked off. “I thought you couldn’t skate?” I asked.

“Why would I recommend it if I couldn’t do it?” he asked as I sat down removing my skates.

“Well you wouldn’t come out…” I said.

“I just haven’t done it in a while… and I didn’t want to fall in front of you,” he finally admitted. I finished putting my other shoes back on and I threw my arms around his neck.

“You shouldn’t care if you fall in front of me! You’re human, we all make mistakes,” I said. He smiled and pecked my lips before grabbing his things and removing his skates as well.

“I’ll take it you’re hungry?” he asked.

“Very,” I smiled. He took my hand and we walked out as he looked around at the restaurants around us.

“Let’s go there,” he said motioning over to The Green Ivy.

“Kendall it’s expensive!” I said. He shrugged and pulled out his wallet.

“Anything for you,” he smiled. I blushed and he gave my hand a light squeeze as we walked to the restaurant.

We got inside and he got us a U shaped booth. We slid in and he put his arm around me as the waiter gave us our menus.

“What may I start you off with to drink?” he asked. I looked up to Kendall and he smiled at the guy whose name tag read, Samuel.

“Water,” Kendall said.

“You Miss?” he asked.

“Water,” I smiled, he nodded and walked off.

“So what are you gonna get?” he asked.

“What’s the cheapest?” I asked. He glared at me,

“Get what you want,” he said.

“I don’t want to burn a hole in your pocket… because I will,” I said. He smirked and shrugged,

“I think I have it covered babe, get what you want,” he said kissing my temple. I sighed and looked over the menu again. I found a Caesar Salad and Kendall found a steak he settled on.

The waiter brought back the waters and took our orders. Kendall took a sip and looked at me, “How much was the salad?” he then asked. My eyes got big and he began to laugh. “I was joking,” he said. I glared at him and he kissed me.

My phone buzzed and I peeked at it, James. I hit ignore and turned back to Kendall.  The waiter came minutes later with our food. We ate in silence as Kendall finished before me and pulled out a credit card. The waiter came over one last time,

“Would you guys like any dessert?” he asked. Kendall smiled at me and I looked at him unsure.

“Do you want cheesecake?” he asked me. I looked over to the waiter and he smiled at me. I nodded and Kendall nodded up to the waiter.

“One to share?” he asked.

“Yes please,” I spoke up. The waiter smiled and walked away. Kendall looked down at me and gave me a light smile.

“So… how was our first date?” he asked.

“So far, amazing,” I smiled. The waiter brought out our dessert and Kendall grabbed a bit with his fork and held it to my lips. “No! You are not feeding me!” I laughed.

“Why not,” he smiled eating it. I grabbed my fork and fed myself.

“I feel like a kid,” I said.

We finished and paid before getting ourselves back on campus. There was a note taped on Kendall’s door,

“Stay with [Y/N] tonight. – James”

Kendall looked at me and I smiled as I motioned for him to follow me in. I sat my things down and I took off my jacket. I felt arms wrap around my waist from behind me and Kendall began kissing my neck. I turned in his arms and he kissed my lips. I threw my arms around his neck and he looked over at my bed.

“You okay with this?” he asked, in response I kissed him.
