"So this is all that you found out?" I nodded as he looked through my report. "Yep! All I could find and all I found at the warehouse." I was happy with my work. He gave me a skeptical look. "And what all did you take?" I faked shock. "Kakashi! I'm shocked that you believe I would resort to, thievery!" He gave me a serious face. "Fine. I got these fancy ninja weapons and this summon  scroll." Kakashi picked up the weapons first. Well attempted to. "Their made out of tungsten, a form of metal used in high quality  ninja weapons. They have seals on them that make it impossible to hold unless you flow chakra through them." He looked at me then nodded. Then he picked up the scroll and looked at it. "I've never seen seals like this. Are you sure it's a summon scroll?" I knew he would ask that. "Yes, the seals hide ancient  kanji depicting  a ritual on how to unseal the scroll. I couldn't  get much out of the seals except  the words blood and night as well as the animal symbol for bat." Kakashi  looked a bit cautious at  the scroll. "You sure it's safe?" I nodded at him. "I'm sure in fact I was going to do the ritual tonight but the ritual itself tells of its safety." He nodded before turning to me. "I would insist on you training  with the team on walking  up a tree with chakra but I saw you running across the water in your fight with Zabuza. So I'll leave you to your own training. Just be careful." I smiled at him and nodded as I left to prepare.

Some time later

So it's midnight  and ive done the seals like I was advised by the scroll in blood. I've put a massive amount  of chakra  in each inscription. Now I just have to perform the jutsu. I wouldn't lie and say I wasn't nervous. I had read all about summoning  jutsu from books I could find and I knew it was different from any ever seen. So I began  the intricate sign for the jutsu before finishing. "Summoning jutsu." The world around me went dark and all that I could see was the red glow of the seals around me. In a instant I was in a dark forest that was shaded in colors of black, grey and white. I saw a massive  thing in the distance  then I heard a loud booming  voice. "So another mortal slipped through the fissure. Or is it possible  someone finally  found our ancient  scroll." I felt inclined to answer. "I found your scroll  and did the ritual. Now I'm here." In a flash the massive  form was before me. The bat was massive  and seemed to be more similar to a Dragon than a actual bat. "Then I welcome you. I am the Lord of the realm of shadows or as you mortals call it. The shadow realm. It's been a long time since I've had a guest and you are an honored one to have. For only one chosen by  fate could decifer our ancient code." I stood shocked at his revelation. But I knew I had to speak. "I came here to learn how to summon  you and others. Tell me what I have to do." He brought his face down to mine and I could see his eyes. They almost shined blue. "I already knew why you were here. And I have seen into your soul. It's been a long time that I've sat and observed the ninja of your time. Now the order of the world is in jeopardy. Forces you not yet know of seek chaos. I will help you. For if this is not stopped. I fear your world will fall. But I warn you, what I give will be a gift and a curse. But if you use it wisely you will prosper." I could tell he was waiting for my answer. "I'm willing to do anything to protect  my friends."
