I woke up at 7am, Gerard and Mikey were talking in the kitchen. I could sorta hear their conversation. It was about someone named Pete, but that was none of my business.
I got up from the couch and walked into the kitchen. "Hey guys." I said awkwardly while walking to the coffee machine. "Oh hey, we were just talking about school, there's a lot of drama and shit. People have to be surreal dumbasses to believe the rumors spread around. So, since you'll be going there my best advice is don't believe a word they about the person I am today."
I wondered what he meant by that, I guess I'll have to find out. "Do you think I should call my dad, I think he would be worried by now... since I wasn't at the airport.." I suggested, don't get my wrong, I hate him. I don't blame my mom for cheating on him with the same gender. I bet she did that on purpose to piss him off, sounds like my mom.
"That's a good idea, here you can use my phone." Gerard said, pulling out his phone. I took it from his hands, they seemed cold. "Thanks." I walked into another room to spare my ebarassment. I my dad's phone number and it picked up on the first ring. "Uh, hey this is Frank. Something happend with the plane.. And yeah... Um I'm in Belleville, and I'm safe. I'm at the Way's house."
"Okay, I think I know where that is. Just tell me your stupid excuse when you get home! Frank, do you have a pen? "
"Y-Yes sir"
"Okay write this down, the address is ***** "
I wrote down the address with a blue pen on a napkin. , "Oh, and by the way. The plane crashed in a forrest, well, in a pond. So all of the stuff I brought is basically destroyed. I didn't really get injured, I just have a few cuts and bruises.", I said in a nervous manner.
"Does it look like I care!?"
"Sorry, I just-"
"Frank, just be home by 6pm, okay? You start a new school tomorrow for fuck's sake! I have some of your clothes that your weird mother sent in the mail that you can wear just in case your luggage was lost.
"Okay, well I'm gonna hang up now.. bye, Dad."
"Bye."
I quickly hung up the phone. I then gave Gerard his phone back. "Wow, he sounded pissed." Gerard said.
I wondered how he heard my conversation.
"He was to be honest. Let's just say me and my dad don't see eye to eye."
