Jakerlyn's POV
"LACHLAN!" I scream as I enter the room. There was blood everywhere and his breathing was slowing.
"Please...Don't...No" Tears ran down my cheeks and I lifted him up.
"You weren't the type to do this though" I heard a knock at the door and looked up to see...
"Aubyn" I muttered as he sat with me and I lost all control of my emotions, he pulled me against his chest and we both noticed the note. He gazed at Lachlan's lifeless body and I picked up the note, reading it aloud.
"Rope around my neck I’ve choked myself to death What I’d do for one more breathe, To go back to when I was a kid Relive my first love, To feel the love of my mother, and see a hero in my father.. Be in awe of the stars as my eyes glitter with wonder, The voices in my head are quiet now, But my heart no longer beats. I long for a feast, A gathering of those I called friends, No longer can my broken heart be mend, Be mend by kind words, sympathy and borrowing of the shoes in which I walk, No longer will I borrow an ear For I’ve let out my final breathe. I want to feel the excitement of coming first, But the fear of coming last has left me dangling my feet. Don’t cry for me, Remember the good feels I gave you Ignore my selfish action to take your friend, your brother Your son.. To ye who languishes in sorrow, Don’t be disheartened for you shall join me in the morrow…."
"Shit...No...LACHLAN!" I pushed myself away from Aubyn and started shaking his body.
"Wake up, wake up! you can't be dead"
"Jak" He said as he wrapped his arm around my waist and pulled me away, he sat in front of me and reassured me I was going to be okay.
"I need to tell the others, can you wait here?" I simply nodded and sat there. He walked out the door and I stared at Lachlan again, wondering how it was even possible. That he of all people did this. I expected to see Aubyn, but instead saw Brayden.
"Great" I said as I rolled my eyes.
"Are you okay?"
"Will Alijah be if he saw it?"
"No" Just then I heard someone fall, I glanced behind Brayden and saw Alijah crouched over Lachlan's body, tears running down his cheeks and dripping onto the floor.
"I want to go home" I stated as I exited the room and didn't look back.
