Williams POV:

"There it is! There's There's the school!" I shouted, pointing out my window. Ava giggled gumming her tiny feet behind me. "You see that ugly old school, Ava. That's where Daddy went for middle school."

"She can't understand your stupid talk, Will."

"Yes she can. Cant you Ava?" She let out a squeal. "See." I stick my tongue out. "She gets me..."

Lilinna smacks my shoulder."Oh, shut up." I park in front of my old house, looking at how well kept the place has been. I walked up the steps, a bark coming from inside. Lilinna held Ava in her arms, all waiting for the door to open. The door swung in, my sister jumping into my arms with a wild screech.

"Mommy! Willie's home!!!!" She ran inside and back out dragging my mother by the hand. She screeched as well giving me a bear hug.

"Hi guys. You can let go now."

Lilinna laughed. "He's been a little uptight lately."

"Well I have the best cure. Food."

I glanced at them all before following Mom into the house. Same kitchen, same island from my childhood. We have leftover spaghetti, baked potatoes, mac'n'cheese... Anything really." I grabbed a potato.

"Thanks Ma." I sat at the island as me potato heated in the microwave. Mom tossed my hair.

"White. When did this happen?"

"Just got it done. What about your white?" She smacked my head. "Kidding." I looked around. "You heard from Lucian?"

"Nope, not in a long while. You?" We both took a sip of coffee.

"Not in months. Last I knew he was in Augusta working on houses. That was almost two years ago."

"Yeah, same here."

A honk came from outside, unexpected. "You expecting guests?"

"No." We stepped outside a navy blue Nisan parked just outside. A lone man stepped out of the vehicle, turning to us.

"Hey Mom!"

"Luci?"

Lucian's POV:

Derry. Same old town, same old stories. I passed the schools and the remade Paramount Theatre. Damn I hated this town. I took a turn, pulling up to my moms house. Another car was already in the driveway.

"Ugh." I stepped out leaning over the top of the car. My mom stood on the porch standing with what looked like my brother.

"Hey Mom!"

"Luci?" She called.

"Yup!" I ran up the steps and hugged her. "Long time no see, chickadee." I looked over at the white haired male. "Well well. You're taller."

He looked at himself then me. "You still a virgin, Luci?"

I punched his arm. "Hell no, donkey breath." I glanced into the window behind William, Lilinna, his wife, sat with a bouncing baby. "B-baby? You have a baby?"

He turned. "Oh. Yeah, her name's Ava. Wanna meet her?"

"Yes! I want to meet my niece!"

My mom chuckled as we stepped inside, Lilinna laughed at the baby girl attempting to eat her auburn hair. "Not Mommy's hair. Have your binkie." She babbled, throwing the pacifier.

"She just hit a year old last month. Big like we were."

"Mom says it's genes."

"I'm right here you twat." I turned. She was smiling faintly, her hand on either of our faces. Her eyes looked sad, wet with tears. "I need to tell you two something very important." I frowned. "Follow me to the basement."

Kleas' POV:

It was disgusting, like it always had been. Murky, never used. The two trailed close behind, William plugging his nose.

"Why one earth does this have to do with anything?"

"Because I want to take you to where your father was killed." Their eyes widened.

"You killed Dad?!" Lucian practically screamed.

"No, you dip. Do you remember when you were in third grade and I told you Jaime wasn't biological to you two." They glanced at each other. "He's not your real father, he just wanted to help raise you. We got romantically involved while I was pregnant."

"So what you're saying is our real dad died in the sewers under the house."

I hesitated. "Yesssss." God, I'm just making myself look crazy. "You know what. Forget everything I said down here." I pushed them upstairs. "Your father had certain powers. When he was hungry he'd turn into a fear, eat and come home to me. I helped sometimes when he couldn't get into a kids room."

"Wait, he ate kids?" Lucian asked.

"Uh, yeah... It was the only way he could live. He told me a story about these kids that stabbed him in the eye and pushed him into a hole. He didn't come back until just before I moved here."

"He was in a hole for 27 years? Wasn't twice your age?"

"He doesn't age unless he wants to." Lucian was freaked out, never hearing something so bizarre. William looked like he'd heard it all before, or even seem it. I sat opposite the two, fiddling with my hands. Will took my hands in his own.

"I've been wanting to tell you about something for the past few months." He moved beside me. "I think  I- actually, I can, I can do everything you explained, but, I also glow sometimes." Lucian snapped his head up.

"You glow, too? From your chest?"

Will nodded. "I get angry and it happens. But I've been eating so it's not anymore."

I grabbed his face Lucian jumping back from the two of us. "You're what!"

Williams eyes were blue, just like his fathers, and scared like them too. "I-i-"he stuttered. " Ugh!"
He pushed my hands off all of us now standing. "I'm 27! I have a kid and a wife! I haven't been so hungry! Ever! And I can't help but feed on the kids because it's helping me not eat them."

Lucian watched, his anger fueling his eyes orange. I could see light coming from him, just under his shirt. "Stop yelling, William!"

"I'm not fucking yelling!" He shouted back at his brother.

"How about we all shut up and calm down." I turn around facing the voice. Oh my fucking God.

"Hiya sweet cheeks. Miss me?"
