Watching Jesse stare at his sister with so much pain made me grip the water pitcher so tight that my knuckles turned white. I couldn't look away, it was like I was stuck in this moment forever, watching the same actions and the same people trying to save this little girl.

"She's back!" The whole room cheered and hugged, wiping their tears away with their shirts.

I hadn't noticed that tears had escaped my eyes until I felt wetness on my cheeks. I set the water pitcher down so I could fix myself up before walking back in my sister's room, but once I set the pitcher down I looked back at the room and locked eyes with glazed over, curious icy blue eyes.
I dabbed away the tears and pretended like I didn't see Jesse so I could make it back to my sister's room without causing a scene.

   "Allie?"

"Jesse?" I turned around and acted all innocent as if I didn't just see his sister almost die.

   "What are you doing here?"

"I- well, my sister is here because she was in a car accident so I was visiting her." I murmured.

"Oh, your sister, is she ok?" He asked sincerely.

"My sister? Oh, ya she's fine. Is that your sister?" Gosh I'm so awkward.

"You shouldn't have seen that, yes that's my sister." He answered coldly.

I decided not to hammer him and ask questions about his sister, so I just said I should get back to my sister and he should get to his and we left it at that.
I didn't think that I would be seeing him here, nor did I think his sister was going to be here in the condition she was in, it broke my heart seeing someone so out of control.

But that's why I want to pursue my career in medicine and try and help those like his sister, whose name I do not know, and try and give them that control back.

Moments passed before I eventually made it back into Bree's room and my parents were starting to fall asleep and Bree was already crashed, they must have been here for a while. So I slipped them a note and kissed them all on the forehead and headed to my car.

Once I sat in my car and started her up, only then did I remember that I haven't talked to Cody since we almost had sex. Wow. We almost had sex. But I haven't had sex in forever and it's not like I'm involved with anyone else. But then I remembered that I was thinking about Jesse while Cody was stripping my clothes off. Fuck, I need help.
The only logical thing I could think of was to call Cody. After what happened at the hospital I need a stress reliever.

I needed sex.

****************
"Hello?"

"Hey Cody, you busy?" I ask seductively, god I'm pathetic.

"It depends, why are you asking?" He asks curiously.

"Let me come over and I'll show you why." I bet he was getting turned on by these words.

"Fuck, ok, my mom's not home, come on over." Score!

************* ⚠️
I pull into his driveway so fast I almost hit the garage. I was shaking, my hormones were going wild and I needed some release.

I knocked a slow knock on the door and within seconds Cody opened it and I practically pounced on him tugging his shirt off as fast as I could.

"Someone's aggressive. I like it." Cody breathes hot air in my ear, forming minor goosebumps on my skin, I was hoping to get a better reaction out of it.
