Archie read through the texts again with tears streaming down his face. All were sent in the course of three days and he knew he shouldn't be reading through them, but he just had to.
"I'm so glad to see you again! I haven't seen you since you were little." His mom yelled happily when he saw her redheaded son sitting down on one of the airport benches waiting to be picked up. He quickly wiped some of his tears away and smiled at his mother.
"Yeah, it's been a really long time." He got up and wrapped his mother in a warm hug.
"I'm happy you're going to be with me for a while even if it's under such bad circumstance." She smiled sadly.
Doing what he did to Jughead will always be his biggest regret.
