"We're about twenty minutes away." Jughead finally says after almost an hour of silence between the two.

"Really? So my day with you is going to end in twenty minutes? That sucks." Archie sighs.

"After I tell you what happened, and you tell me what happened, you're going to be grateful it's only 20 minutes." Jughead snorts.

"You're probably right." Archie mumbles.

"We should probably start sharing now, so that way by the time we get o my place I can just get out and we won't have to see each other again." Jughead suggests.

"If that's what you want." Archie nods.

"But first I need to tell you something that I should've told you like an hour ago."

"What's that?"

"I..." Jughead hesitated, chewing on his lip nervously which Archie immediately notices.

"Take your time." Archie says soothingly, cocking his head to the side in curiosity. Archie is a pro at all things "Jughead." He knows how to calm him down, he knows how to make him feel comfortable, he knows what all his nervous ticks are, and he knows when he's lying. The only other time Jughead has ever chewed on his lip like that was when... no! He couldn't be...

"I'm still in love with you too." Jughead sighs, smiling a little to himself that he was able to say it without going into some type of attack.

Archie's eyes light up comically and a broad smiles spreads across his face when he hears those words. "You're serious?" He asks hopefully.

"You'd know if I was lying."

"You're serious!" Archie practically yells, making Jughead laugh. "Oh my gosh, you love me." He says excitedly again. "Jughead Jones loves me." He says in awe.

"Does this mean I can get that kiss now?" Jughead teases.

"I told you that this was the best day of my life right?"

"A few times, yes."

"Then you can have as many kisses as you want."

"Then pull over idiot!"

"Is that anyway to talk to somebody that you love?"

"The fact that I love you doesn't change the fact that I shouldn't and that this is never going to work."

"Let's pretend we're in a perfect world. In this perfect world, we would work."

"We would."

"So for these next five minutes, we work."

"We work." Jughead agrees.

Archie pulls the car over to the side once again, and gets to work unbuckling his seatbelt. "I can't believe this is happening."

"Me either." Jughead laughs as he copies him.

Archie leans in slowly and stops about a centimeter away from his lips. "I love you." He whispers.

"Shut up and kiss me already." Jughead whispers back, staring at Archie's lips intently.

Archie connects their lips together passionately, and the two close their eyes involuntarily, too overwhelmed by the intensity of such a slow, innocent kiss. The kiss is just like the two remembered their last kiss was like, and it makes them believe that nothing really changed between them at all for however long it lasted. It gives them hope that they shouldn't have.

In a perfect world, they are meant to be.

But this world isn't perfect.

Im posting early cuz I'm in such a bad mood ATM. It's been all day actually, my friends genuinely piss me off and I have no stable relationships.

One of my friends is the fakest of them all. We used to have a mutual friend, but I stopped being friends with him and ever since then, he started to cling onto her and she entertains it despite claiming to "hate him". I've had to sit through four years of her telling me, "I don't know why you hang out with him. He's so fucking annoying I wouldn't put up with him. I told you so. I told you so. Look at what he does, he's a joke blah blah."

She supposedly hates him but claims she's the baddest bitch in the world so if you hate him so much why do you respond to his text? Why do you entertain his bs? And why are you going to his party? He decides to throw a party all of a sudden and invite all of my friends to his party, which I feel it's to spite me. Because he's never had the urge to throw a party and I've known him since middle school. So now it's "oh I'm not going to go to his party. He's a joke. But I'll go if my other friend goes"

......

Can we cut the bs here?

If you wanted to go bowling with your other friend you would have planned it at a different time. Stop making up bs excuses to distract from the fact that you want to go, because if you're such a bad bitch and don't take shit from anybody and don't care about anybody's feeling but you're own (which she constantly reminds me is the main difference between us) you wouldn't be entertaining the thought of going to his party. You just want to go because you like him. And it's like, I don't even care if you hang out with him because he's not my friend, but I do care that you're constantly bringing him up all the time to me when I'm trying to not care about him anymore, and talk all this shit about hating him but you're all over him when he comes over to you which he only does when I'm around because he's bitter about our past.

But whatever.

Everything is always a competition with her, and now that she's finally earned his affection since I'm out of the picture, she keep rubbing it in my face like it's a game.

ITS NOT. CUTTING SOMEONE TOXIC OUT OF YOUR LIFE IS HARD AND TOOK A LOT OF COURAGE. ITS NOT FOR TOU TO DANGLE IN FRIMT OF MY FACE ALL THE TIME OR JOKE ABOUT.

But okay I'm done ranting. I just really need new friends.
