El's pov
it was July 6th and it was Jane's birthday, i can't believe it's been one year since i had Jane and i can't imagine my life with out her, after all the stress and me being scared it was all worth it. we had all our friends and family coming over for Jane's birthday, i was in the living room with Max, Holly and Joyce just talking about random stuff. Mike and the boy's where in the kitchen talking about something i don't understand, Karen, Nancy and Jonathan where talking on the other sofa, and we where still waiting on my dad to come back from work he said he wouldn't be long.
"So El have you started making a move on wedding planing yet" Joyce asked me
"A bit" i say bouncing Jane on my lap
"So what have you's decided" Max but's in
"Umm a date and a year, umm Mike has decided on his best man and groomsmen and i have decided on my bridesmaids and maid of honer"
"So when is it" Joyce asked
"We where thinking 12th of april 1991"
"Oh sweetie that's less than a year away, we need to start planing" Joyce says
"I know, but i just don't have any time at the moment i've got to look after Jane, cook, clean and just other stuff on top of that, plus Mike never has time he is busy than ever with college, work, studying and looking after me and Jane, we just never seem to have the time anymore" i say while playing with Jane and she starts laughing and i smile at her
"Well how about you, me and Max have a day when you come over this week and we start planing, and Hopper can look after Jane"
"When am i looking after Jane" i turn round and see my dad standing there
"Dad when did you arrive" i say standing up to hug him
"About 5 minuets ago Mike let me in and i was talking to the boy's in the kitchen"
"Aww you should of came through i missed you" i say hugging him with Jane in my arms
"sorry sweetie" he says letting go of "Can i hold her" he asks i nod and hand her over to him "Hey princess happy birthday" he says kissing her cheeks and she starts laughing
"she's such a happy baby isn't she" Max says from her spot on the sofa"
"yeah she is"
"thats a good thing though" Joyce says "why do you come back over and we can talk more about the wedding" i nod and try and take Jane of my dad
"No, no sweetie you talk with girls i will take care of her" my dad says while playing with Jane in his arms
"you sure, she can be a hand full" i say
"yeah i've got this you just have a good time" he say while walking of with her to the kitchen
"So who is the maid of honer" Joyce says
"I was thinking Max" i say looking at her
"Really you're choosing me" i nod my head "Thank you, but you no i'm not really a girly person"
"I know but i think you would do i good job" i say smiling
"Well thank you" she say's hugging me
"What will i be in you're wedding" Holly ask's
"You will be a bridesmaid" i say and she jumps up and down hugging me
"Thank you, thank you, thank you" she says while running of to the kitchen
