When Dylan woke up the next morning Alice wasn't next to him. But he heard the shower running. I'm so lucky to have her in my life. I remember when I would carry her when she was such a little girl. I have loved her since then and being able to do more for her now is the best feeling in the whole world.
Dylan stood from his place in bed, stretching slightly, thinking back to the sweet and connected kisses the two of them had shared the night before.
"Alice don't come out of the shower yet I need to grab my sweat pants." I called to her. Waiting for the mental link to open up.
"Okay" Hearing her sweet voice in my head, like it belongs there, which honestly, it does.
As Alice thought about a possible life with Dylan made her heart flutter and feel all warm and fuzzy inside. Rinsing her long hair out, trying to get the knots out of her hair. Looking at the necklace that Dylan gave her, bursting with pride.
Alice hoped that she would be lucky enough to have twins just like her mother, grandmother and great-grandmother before her. Now children was something that she needed to talk to Dylan about, let's hope that he also wanted children.
"You can come out now Alice." I called to my beautiful beautiful fiance, sitting down on the chair that sat next to my closet. Letting myself feel one-hundred percent happy since I had realized what was happening.
When Alice came out of the shower her teal hair was about to her narrow waist almost getting caught in the towel that she still wore.
"Did your hair grow over night love?" I asked. Seeing Alice in a towel wasn't anything new, but now that we are engaged... I felt the romantic pull towards her. I hoped that she felt it too. And it was a feeling of wanting to feel her skin against mine, feeling her hands on my arms... Things like that.
She nodded her head and said "I think so.. Kinda like my mum's."
A knock came on the door a few moments later.
"Who is it?" Dylan called, not exactly sure who would be at his door. He wasn't important enough to have people knocking on his door.
Opening it, but not letting whoever it was see Alice sitting on his bed in just her towel.
"One of the Queen's royal guards, she has requested that Princess Alice and her brothers meet in the garden in half an hour."
"Alright she will be ready before then."
Closing the door, going back to stand near her.
"What was that about?" she signed.
"Your mum wants to see you and your brothers in a half an hour in the garden."
"Alright then," She raised her hand and a small wall came up in between the two.
Alice placed a blue and green kimono on her body then placed a green sash around her waist. When she was done she put her now pale blonde hair in Japanese fishtail braids.
When she was done the wall came down and Dylan was in a nice shirt and pants. "Are you ready darling?" he asked.
She nodded her head.
Dylan opened the door for her and she walked through the door down the hallway to her twin brother's room Levi.
She knocked and sen't her brother a mental message "Levi are you ready?" Knowing that he had been summoned as well, figuring they should all walk down together.
"I'm coming dear sister." He came out of his room carrying a book on medieval history. "Let's go get Mendel".
Alice nodded her head in agreement. "I'll knock" signed Alice.
