#1: In Chapter 20, I've explained in my own idea on why Sirius never takes relationships seriously and in Chapter 31, I have explained why he felt as such when Freya started dating James. Though, the original flow I was actually about to do was for Sirius to admit he's gay and has been in love with Remus all this time but the bloke was smitten over Dorcas Meadows. There would actually have been a spin-off book about everyone's beloved Wolfstar.

#2: Freya was originally going to have twin brothers instead of one.

#3: Freya and Froyce were originally going to be muggles.

#4: Freya and Froyce were planned to be raised by two gay dads. This being the reason, supposedly, why Freya was going to be all for it when Sirius admits he's gay. They end up best friends in the end.

#5: All the gay references were removed because in the 1970's — which was when the timeline was played — gender fluidness wasn't as accepted as it is today. It wasn't because I thought people then were against it — I'm pretty sure not since Dumbledore was gay but just didn't admit to it. I just thought it'd be more realistic for the timeline.

#6: Francis Merse was originally designed to be a Death Eater.

#7: Froyce supposedly also had a crush on Dorcas which would have lead to his and Remus' feud.

#8: Freya was supposed to be a Keeper in the Gryffindor Team and Sirius as a Beater. Imagine them and James on the field in the midst of the dating games time of their seventh year.

#9: Freya and Lily would've stopped talking completely the moment James and Freya fake dated. They were supposed to turn into that, 'I don't like you but I tolerate you only because you're my roommate' kind of relationship.

#10: The original plot was going to be: Freya had always been in love with James since the beginning — she and Sirius weren't posed fuck buddies at first, they were supposed to be best friends. And Sirius knows about her being head over heels for James and he's the one who proposes the idea of fake dating to his two best friends, both benefiting them — James thinking it would make Lily love him and Freya getting some 'action' with James.

ALTERNATE ENDINGS!!!

#1: Freya was originally going to live but will still end up with Sirius. Then, there was going to originally be a sequel book I was planning to make around Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban i.e. twelve years after Sirius escapes from Azkaban. It was going to continue their romance where Freya will act as Harry's godmother as Sirius is Harry's godfather — both chosen by James. I was imagining them escaping together with Buckbeak. Though, I realized, if that happened, this wouldn't be considered a James Potter book anymore since it would be like a build up to a Sirius Black book.

#2: Froyce and Francis Merse were originally going to be the ones who dies. Freya was so in grieve that she ends up pushing everyone away — including Sirius. The two part ways in good but slightly awkward terms. Though, Freya and James still wouldn't end up together. Everyone instead focus to the Order and Freya is all out for avenging her brother. Freya's personality becomes like Katniss Everdeen after Rue died.

#3: I guess everyone wanted this ending. Yes, even for a tiny moment, I kind of wanted James and Freya to end up together. But I just can not imagine anyone else but Lily being Harry's mother.

So, the original plan was this: I would have gone with Wolfstar. James would get Lily pregnant after seventh year. But both knew they were way too young and that caused problems for the both of them so they broke up even before Lily gave birth (a.k.a. what happened to my parents, lol). And that paved way for James and Freya to get back together after a few months. Everyone moved on and the involved were happy — Lily found another man at some point before Harry turned one. And James and Freya were visiting Lily and Harry that unfaithful night that the Dark Lord came to Lily and Harry's house, resulting in the deaths of the three adults. Frankly, this just doesn't make sense. Freya was meant to die so the story wouldn't be dry. I'm sorry, I love you all!
