FREYA WAS VERY SURE SHE had never seen a wooden door at the end of the third floor but James insisted. He also specified that she should think of the Marauders' dorm room as she strolled and made sure to never focus on anything else. So, by midnight, Freya crept out to the directions James told her to go to.

She wanted to curse him, knowing very well that he knew she was afraid of what comes out from the dark. It was very hard to keep her thoughts straight on to what the Marauders' dorm looked like when she was freaking out over every little squeak.

Just as she was about to give up, she saw a door by the end of the hallway that she was very sure she hadn't seen before. Her nerves grew and although she wasn't fond of what might be on the other side, she decided it was better than staying in the dark of the outside.

Freya gently pushed the door open and peeked her head in cautiously. To her surprise, it looked exactly like the Marauders' room, with the four post beds and the drawers and the windows and everything. She half expected to see all four of them there, laughing at her for falling into one of their pranks but no one was in sight.

Seeing the familiar room, she decided it was safe to enter. Freya closed the door delicately and placed her lamp on the table next to the door. "James?"

"Here," James took off the cloak of invisibility to reveal that he was sat on his bed. That didn't surprise Freya, she knew of the cloak of invisibilty.

"What is this place? A secret passage to your room upstairs?" Freya asked, walking in further and removing her coat. "Is this how you've been sneaking out?"

James chuckled. He folded the cloak as he answered. "We wish, but no. This just so happens to be an exact replica so don't worry, none of the boys are actually here. It's just us."

Somehow, the very thought of that made her actually worried. But she reminded herself that it was her who wanted to talk to him. She started walking towards him as she continued to ask, "But how is this possible? How are you allowed to build on school grounds and why had I never seen this door before?"

"I'd tell you but I can't," James answered, remembering that it was only him that Lily trusted to know of the room right away. "But you will be explained fully about this after Christmas break, I promise."

Freya wanted to ask further but decided not to press it. She silently sat down beside him and then came in the unbearable awkwardness.

She hated that feeling because it blocked her from everything. Weighing wheter she should speak first or not. Afraid that the longer time passed, the lesser audacity she'd have to say what she wanted. It was nerve wrecking.

Freya just wanted to get it over with. She didn't want to prolong the agony. But just as she opened her mouth to speak, she was stopped as James engulfed her in a hug.
