Keith pried open one eye glancing over at the soothing voice calling him and something pulled off his forehead. "Ah you're finally awake." Keith blinked a couple times.
Keith registered the voice echoing in his ears.
"Lance?" Keith asked groggy and tired as if he didn't get any sleep.
"In the flesh baby."
Keith's flash started to heat up. He turned his head to where he was looking at the wall.
Even though the sleepy boy turned away lance still caught the color added to cheeks and ears.
So he decided to bring up the dream.
"Oh yea," Lance started casually. Keith turned his head back to lance giving him his attention.
"What were you dreaming about?" Lance continued "I only ask because it seemed pretty intense...and because my name came up."
"Hmm I don't remember very well... I think we were arguing."
Keith lied looking anywhere but Lance.
Lance didn't know if he could fight off his persistent smirk any longer. He watched Keith's tinted red cheeks as he talked.

Keith laid his head back down on his pillow, hair sprawled out on his pillow while some strands fell over his face.
The child still crawling around on his back made its ways into Keith's upper back. Keith hummed still lying in bed with one hand under the pillow his head rested on and the other tracing shapes into the sheets he laid on.
The half breed child adjusted itself now laying on its stomach cooing softly as it sucked on one hand and played in Keith's hair with the other.
Lance still sat on the edge of the red paladins bed looking down at the two but mostly the black haired boy. He stared down at him thinking up all the things of what could be before interrupting their calm comfortable quiet.
"I think we should talk."
