When people gather,
It's usually for birthdays, parties & celebrations
But today it's something extra special
Burying the dead brings more people together than ever
It's a celebration of life that has passed; safely & slowly ascending into the heavens
Personally, I don't find death as an occasion for sadness or tears
I merely see it as the passing of only a small portion of our lives
Tears won't bring anyone back. Neither will anything at this point.
And that's a fact
All we can do now, is to pray and hope for him
As we gently lay the last white rose above his lifeless corpse.
