I'm jealous of the fact that if a person was raised in a liberal culture & society, then they wouldn't get looked down upon people who shame those who give but a simple hug to the opposite gender.
I'm jealous of boys who can easily make a move to girls, but when a girl decides that she would want to hold his hand, their family members would be disgusted by it.
I'm jealous of people who live in a different world than I'm in because it's easy for them to show their affection towards others without them having to worry about their judgemental parents.
I rebel. I don't want to be locked in this conservative culture any longer. It's making me insane to the point that I have to hide my true self.
If I want to hug a guy friend, I shall give him the warmest of hugs.
If I want to give a high-five to men, I'll even add in a grunt.
If I want to console my boyfriend, I'll then lend him my shoulder to cry on.
Shaming those people who can't help but show their love to the opposite sex is not conservatism.
It is cowardice.
