Chapter 22

(Emily's pov)

{earlier at the doctor}

Doctor: Emily now tell me have you been feeling sick, morning sickness?

I looked down and twirled my thumbs. I nodded and looked back at him. "Yes I have been having morning sickness for the last few weeks."

Doctor: last period?

I looked him straight in the eyes, scared.. "3 months ago.."

Doctor: Emily this was just going to be a check up from your accident, but now we need you to have an oltrasound. Are you willing to do so?

"Yes I am sir. May I call someone first? And we start when they get here?"

Doctor: go ahead.

He got up from his chair an patted me on the back then left the room. I thought I was just gaining wait.. An i stopped having them because of the shot.. I grabbed my phone from my purse and dialed Niall.

"Hello?"

"Niall... Will you come into the doctors office with me please..?"

"Sure what's wrong?"

"Just come in and it'll be explained.."

"Ok I'm coming."

I walked out of the room and to the waiting room where I found Niall standing there. He looked worried but I can't blame him. I grabbed his arm and pulled him to the room nodding towards the doctor.

"What's going on?"

"I thought this was just a check up from the accident... But it's not..."

"What do you mean?"

Doctor: we believe that miss Payne might be pregnant. We need to have an oltrasound done but she insisted that someone be here with her. Are you ready Emily?

"Yes I am" I layed down on the bed and pulled my shirt up to the edge of my bra and looked towards Ni. I held out my hand and he stood up an rested one hand on my shoulder an held my hand with the other.

They rolled the machine into the room, the nurse applied the gel. God was it cold. After looking at the screen for so long I turned my head an looked at Niall. He was watching the screen. His grin kept getting bigger and bigger.

"It's beautiful emily."

"Is it a girl or boy? Wait don't tell me" I covered my eyes then uncovered them. I looked the the monitor then the nurse. "can you tell me how far along I am?"

Nurse: you are about well 5 months.

"Awh" Niall and I echoed. This is amazing yet horrible.
