-A lost girl finds her way, and is brought back to where she is supposed to be, or is she?-
I'm sorry, for the first couple chaps they r kinda cringeeeeey and I'm just realizing:/
Finn's pov"Time?" I asked Sadie who was walking behind me
"Two thirty four AM" she let a breath out
I sat down on a bench that was against an old building, Sadie followed. I looked up, at the polluted night sky... like she probably was doing somewhere, out there, in the city.
"Where could she be?" Sadie mumbled
"She knows this city way better than we do" she added
There was a pause, I continued looking at the night sky.
"Sadie, we should go home" I said switching my attention to her
Her eyebrows furrowed together "what? No. We have to find Millie" she huffed
"Maybe she doesn't want us to find her" the time of my voice was low, and lifeless.
"B-but, Finn! This girl has been through so much and obviously she has a hard time having relationships with people, don't you think we should help her?" Sadie argued with me, I stayed quiet.
"so you just want her to be out on her own, alone, in the fucking city!" She yelled the last part
"She has been alone in the city, for 4 years" I mumbled
"Yeah but we can be her new home.. we can help-"
"Fine. You go home I'll look for her more, you look exhausted." I said cutting her off
"Well thanks." She said sarcastically
"Okay, but Finn"
"Yes?"
"Please find her, I've really gotten to know her, and she's an amazing person I want in my life." She finished getting up from the bench
"Trust me, I know the feeling" I said
"Good, thank you Finn" she said as she disappeared into the early morning
After a minute or two of sitting I got up and decided to look around the park, I looked in the play ground, and around the trees as the sun came up through the buildings, I was tired and yawning every second.
I stumbled upon a fountain, I looked in and saw the little coins people had thrown in along with their wish's that would most likely never actually come true.
—Millie's pov
The tip of my finger was freezing cold as my eyes fluttered open. I picked up my hand from out of the fountain and sat up quickly seeing and empty park that looked beautiful in the light of the early morning. I rubbed my eyes, and swayed around the fountain, but I saw someone
A boy, it was Finn, he didn't see me yet. Why am I hiding from him? I thought, I really didn't know, he was so unbelievably nice to me and I just ran away from his affection. I observed him, slowly tiptoeing around the opposite side of the fountain as he was. I found this amusing and I small giggle escaped my lips, he whipped around and I immediately dropped to the ground so he wouldn't see me, this was fun. I poked my head up from ground and over the fountain and was startled to see Finn standing there looking straight at me
"Found ya" he said with a lazy smile on his face, he looked tired, had he been looking for me all night? I gave him a small smile but mostly glared at him crossing my arms in front of me like a child
"Finn I don't need you, I can't get attached to you" I said sitting back down on the marble fountains bench
He came closer and sat down next to me, he sighed and I looked up at him, he looked as though he was thinking really hard "yes, you can."
I just looked at him confused
"Where am I gonna go?" He asked
"I-I don't know, I just don't want to lose yo- I mean, anyone, I don't want to lose anyone " I said faster than I hoped. I do that a lot.
"You won't lose me" he chuckled and looked down at his hands
"Unless you run away" he added fiddling with his fingers
There was a pause, and I thought about what he said. He was right.
"Okay" I said
"What's okay?"
"Let's go home" I said grabbing his hand and standing up from the bench, he followed.
"Wait, are you sure you wanna go home, I mean it is your birthday.." he said smiling
"You remembered?" I asked surprised
"Of course" he said squeezing my hand, I smiled
"Now what do you want to do, 18 year old"
