Circle of Death

  Penelope's P.O.V

It's been 2 days since I seen Kol at his family's ball. He hasn't tried to see me. Every time I walk around town and see him he would quickly disappear. Right now, I am going over the mansion. I knock on the door and Rebekah answers the door.

"Bekah!" I say as I hug her.

"Oh Penelope!" She screams as she hugs back.

She lets me go and moves aside so I can enter.

I walk inside and Rebekah closes the door behind me.

"Is Kol here?" I ask Bekah as I turn around.

"He should be. We have been trying to conjure up a plan against our mother." She sighs at the end.

I look at her questioningly. "Why? What's going on?"

"She's trying to kill us." I hear Elijah say. I look up and he is standing at the top of the stairs with Klaus and Kol. I look at all of them. Elijah looks calm. Klaus looks really angry. Kol looks.... I can't tell how he feels. He has red, puffy eyes. Has he been crying?

I feel a hand on my shoulder, Rebekah. I look at her and she looks at me with sad eyes.

"What do you need me to do?" I ask Elijah, looking up at him.

"Nothing yet. But I will get you when we need you." Elijah responded.

I nod at him then I look at Rebekah, Klaus, Elijah than Kol before leaving and drive home. As I am driving, Kol keeps trying to call me but I ignore them. Then as I get inside my house, I feel a presence.

"Kol, I am really not happy with you." I say not bothering to look around. I go and serve myself a cup of bourbon.

"It's not Kol." Finn says then I feel a needle in my neck and the world goes black.

AT NIGHT

I groan then I open my eyes and I see that I am in the middle of nowhere. I quickly sit up and I take in my surroundings. I see 5 wooden staffs with fire igniting them. I see Kol, Klaus and Elijah on the outside of the circle. I am in it with Finn and Esther.

Out of nowhere, the flames go up and Esther cries out. "No.... Sisters! Do not abandon me!"

I covered my face as the flames grew more than they went out. Finn and Esther were gone. Klaus and Elijah look hesitant, but Kol vamps over to me and helps me up.

I hug Kol and he holds me close, not wanting to let go. He starts crying a bit and he starts whispering how sorry he was and how this was his fault. I try to let go of him to tell him it's ok but he doesn't want to let go. I chuckle and I hold him close. After a bit, he takes a deep breath and he lets me go. He takes my hands and then the next thing I know, we are at my house. I unlock my door and we enter my house. Kol goes over and cleans up the mess I caused because of Finn.

"You don't have to do that." I told him but he ignores me and continues to clean up the glass.

After he is done, I get two glasses and pour bourbon into them. I hand one to Kol as I sip the other one. He quickly downs his drink and he pours another. I walk up behind him and I put a hand on his back. He sighed in an angry way then he slammed the cup down. I jumped back a bit.

"I'm sorry for scarin' you darling. It's just... I really don't want to die and leave you alone again" Kol says softly.

I walk back up behind him. "I know, I know." I softly say as I rub his back. He looks down and I hear him crying softly. I grab his hand and I pull him to the couch. I sit down then he sits down too. He lays his head on my shoulder but I fix myself so he can put his head on my stomach. He lays down and I softly play with his hair. He wraps his arms around my waist and he continues crying in my lap. I play with his hair and I rub his back until I hear quiet snores coming from Kol. I feel a presence behind me.
