I sat back and watched as Nightmare walked over to the alter, looking in my direction and smiling. "I don't like him" Violet growled. "He looks suspicious."
"Oh be quiet Violet" Mother said "I like him, he's got potential, but he's a child of darkness"
"Yes" I say "but he could change" I comment, hopeful. "When he can prove he's done with the darkness kingdom, I wouldn't mind if he lived with us, it's the break we need to end the war" Mother says. "I still don't like him" "Violet, sto" I was cut off, as a bright flash of light made us all turn our heads. In place of the Eevee was a strong, sleek looking Umbreon. He was black with glowing blue rings, perfect  fur and yellow eyes that anyone could get lost in...

Nightmare looked towards me and went bright red. I looked down and realise I was drooling. I've never done that, this is humiliating! "Ha Ha" Mother giggled. "I think you're embarrassing him more than yourself"
I lowered my head, also going bright red, how could today get any worse... yep, shouldn't of said that.

As I said that, Nightmare was thrust into a wall by seemingly nothing, causing Violet to step in front of me, looking around frantically for the source. "YOU" a distressed feminine voice Shouted. "I HATE YOU" the voice shrieked. Appearing out of no-where an orange Espeon slammed into Nightmare, launching him like a rag doll. She was held back by Violet, who having much more experience with physic, was able to contain her. "Crimson... NO..." Nightmare said, slowly getting to his feet, more shook up then hurt. "I know... it's... you..." He said, falling to his knees, almost as if he was submitting. "DIE" Crimson screamed, breaking free of Violets hold. Violet frantically dashed up towards Nightmare, getting on the way to hit the Espeon, Crimson with protect, although she seemed to encapsulate Crimson with the field, as it developed into chains. "That should hold her" Violet smiled, eying Crimson while she shrieked and attempted to break free. "How? Can't she use any moves?" I asked. "Nope, those chains drain power" she laughed, "soon she'll collapse from exhaustion" "Nightmare!" I yelled, while rushing to his side. "Here, Umbreon" Violet yelled, still not wanting to use his name, and pointed her palm as she set out a pulse, probably using the move Heal Pulse. "Thanks, Violet, is it?" I looked over to Violet, looking very baffled. "How do" "I heard you talking" he grins "you guys are pretty loud"

"NOOO" screamed Crimson, gaining the strength to fight against the chains. "AAH!" she yelled, destroying the chains and slamming Violet into a rock, knocking her unconscious "I've had just about enough" Mother said, smacking into Crimson, launching her. "Leave the light kingdom out of this, Espeon!" "fine" she growled, grabbing a large rock and launching it at the Absol, who wasn't paying attention "Ah!" He yelped, before being slammed between two rocks, as a pool of blood formed underneath. Nightmare surprised us all when he slammed into one of the rocks, destroying it, then grabbed The Absol, and bolting towards the dark kingdom. Crimson also disappeared heading for the fire kingdom.

"What the heck just happened?" I asked, trying to wake up Violet. "I... honestly don't know" Mother said baffled. "Go, follow him, but don't get too close to the dark kingdom, they're up to something"
