"So I take it that you like ice cream?" Jumin asked, eyeing the large bowl of fancy tart cherry sorbet you had grabbed on your way to the library.
"Yes." You responded bluntly.
"Do you have a particular flavor you like best?"
"Yes."
"May I ask what it is?" Jumin looked at you with an eyebrow raised. He felt like he was prying for information he wasn't meant to know. But it was just about ice cream. She's incredibly secretive. Probably for the best in her past circumstances. But I do wish she would open up to me.
"No." You responded. Jumin stopped in his tracks.
"And why not?" He looked back at you, only to see a small smile on your face, indicating that you were attempting to be playful. "Well then I shall have to purchase every flavor for you and ask each time you enjoy some."
"I like that game." You smiled a little wider. Of course you liked it. It ensured you ice cream.
"Well then it shall begin now. Is that your favorite flavor?" He asked as he resumed his path towards the library.
"No." You responded quickly. A moment of silence ensued. Jumin had no idea what to say next. So you decided to extend the conversation, much to his surprise. "But I do like it a lot. Do you have a favorite ice cream flavor?"
"Mint. I find it refreshing."
"With chocolate chips?" You clarified as you both entered the magnificent library.
"No. Just mint." Jumin responded. "This section here," he gestured to a large portion of the wall, "is in English. Feel free to read anything that you would like."
One book in particular stuck out to you. The Vegetarian by Han Kang. Must be an English translation. I heard this book just won a very prestigious award. I should try it.
Jumin, on the other hand, already had a book and had reclined on the small loveseat in the center of the room. Looking around, you saw no where else to sit and therefore decided to join him.
"What are you reading?" You asked, as you leaned your head on his shoulder to take a look.
Jumin snapped the book shut and a light blush dusted his cheeks. He had been reading an erotic novel, not that he would tell you that.
"Very well." You huffed. Quickly, you became absorbed in your book and your ice cream.
The sun drifted lower and lower until it was completely dark outside. Satiated by the ice cream, you weren't really bothered to ask for dinner but you were still curious why Jumin hadn't suggested you go. Looking over to him, you discovered why.
Lightly snoring, book on his chest, was Jumin Han. You chuckled lightly at this multi-millionaire who couldn't help but fall asleep. Realizing your opportunity, you slowly removed his book and scanned it. It was in Korean, but the pictures made it abundantly clear what type of book that is. As you turned away from him, you continued looking through the naughty novel.
"Do you like it?" Jumin whispered in your ear, causing you to yelp and shut the book. "It seems we've missed dinner. If you would kindly return my book, then we can head to bed if you so please." He offered his hand as he stood up.
You smiled a small smile and graciously accepted his hand as he led you back to your bedroom.
He walked you into your room, an unnecessary but thoughtful gesture.
"I have no other pajamas, or clothes..." You mentioned. You had been in his clothes all day. Silken boxers, with a plain white tee-shirt.
"Can you bear it, to wear them one more night? I think I may have something you can wear tomorrow, and I can take you out shopping then. My sincerest apologies, and my treat to you."
You nodded and settled into bed.
"I do have one last request though." You said right as he began to get up.
"Yes?" He inquired curiously.
"Can you read to me?"
