Jumin quickly went backstage to collect you. He had to get you home immediately. Home? Or the safe house? He thought to himself. She should probably go to the safe house. I have no doubt that I'm terrifying to her.
But as he rounded the corner, he was once again struck by his attraction to you. Home it is. She'll be safe with me.
You gave a concerned look as the man rushed over to you and put a hand at the small of your back. He ushered you out the door and towards his waiting limousine. He leaned towards you.
"Don't look back. I'm taking you to my home, it'll be safe for you. I'm here to ensure that you can live your life again."
What? You were shocked and confused. You really didn't know Korean, but you heard the word safe. He was here to... rescue me? It felt like the wind was knocked out of your chest. You stumbled and your heel caught on the ground. Before you felt the sharp kiss of the pavement on your knees, you were in his arms.
"Be careful." He said to you.
But you had no idea what he said and simply nodded. You had learned that saying yes was a life-saving skill.
Jumin helped you into the car and proceeded to the other side, where Driver Kim let him in. After he spewed out some directions and commands, he looked at you. It would be a long drive back and he was exhausted. But he felt as if he couldn't take his eyes off of you.
"Sleep." He crooned in his deep voice. He took off his suit jacket and folded it up like a pillow, handing it to you.
Does he want me to hold it? Very odd that he would fold it like this. I'm sure the suit was thousands of dollars. You were confused and simply held the jacket in you hands, looking from it to Jumin.
"You can trust me. I won't hurt you." He shifted over and patted the spot next to him.
Trust... he must want me to sleep! You were having a terrible time understanding what he was saying, but you were so exhausted that once you got the gist of it, you acquiesced and laid the jacket down. Shifting your own body, you pulled your legs up onto the seat and laid your head on the jacket. It wasn't very comfortable, but you didn't have any complaints.
Jumin watched as you drifted off to sleep. You hair looked so soft, that he wanted nothing more than to pet it. But he stopped himself. Certainly, this would startle you. If he was going to allow you to stay at his house, then he'd have to be very careful about his interactions with you. He'd also have to avoid any paparazzi problems. After the whole scare with Mint Eye, losing his new friend MC and Sarah's obsession with him, Jumin was trying to live a more peaceful life. Keeping a survivor of human trafficking was going to be the opposite of that. On top of it all, he still had work.
Maybe tomorrow... maybe I can work from home just for the day. He thought as he felt himself drifting off against the window of him limousine.
