"Are you ready to go, YN?" Jumin asked you calmly as he opened his door buttoning up his new white shirt. He was trying his best to move on from the incident, but seeing your face blush made many questions rush to his mind.
Is she okay? Did she like what she saw? Has she seen anything like that before? Was it triggering for her? Are things going to be weird now?
"Yes, Jumin. Sorry for walking in on you." You whispered the last part as you stood up and began to walk towards the stairs.
"Did you like what you saw?" Jumin covered his mouth as quickly as the words fell out of it.
You quickly turned your head towards him, wondering if that was what he really said. It was now Jumin's turn to blush. Why couldn't he control his mouth today?
After a moment of silence, you finally responded.
"Yes."
Jumin blushed more and his heart bloomed just a little bit along with yours. You were so happy that he wasn't going to be weird about this. That would make this afternoon much more enjoyable.
As you both walked silently to the car and sat in it, smiling, your stomach reminded you of the original reason you had walked up to see Jumin.
"I'm hungry." You stated blatantly. "I ate the salad."
"Here. I always keep this in here for emergencies." Suddenly, a chocolate bar materialized in his hand, which was presented to you.
"Oh, thank you!" You smiled and took the candy graciously.
As you ate in the car, Jumin smiled at you soundlessly. He was happy to be able to provide for you. First food, next clothes.
"So do you have a sweet tooth?" You asked once you had finished.
"Sweet... tooth?" Jumin wasn't up to date on English slang.
"Oh, um, do you like candy?" You corrected yourself.
"Yes, but I don't often indulge. My personal trainer warns me constantly to cut back or I'll lose my figure."
You giggled and tried to imagine a chubby Jumin. It'd be cute. You thought.
"Ah, we're here." Jumin noted as the car came to a stop. It was a boutique that looked quite expensive.
Driver Kim opened the door next to Jumin, allowing you both to exit the car. You perked up slightly, seeing a few familiar sights in the store. Jeans, blouses, dresses.
You almost ran into the store. As you walked inside, a woman began talking to you rapidly in Korean. Jumin to the rescue.
"She speaks English only for now. Please, dress her in whatever she wants. This should handle the price." He handed her a black credit card and you swore that the woman's eyes lit up.
You on the other hand, had already gone to the jean rack. You had worn almost exclusively dresses for the last few years, so you were looking forward to wearing these.
It took you a few hours to try on enough clothes to satisfy Jumin. He did of course, ask to see each outfit you picked out. In the end, you had enough clothes to last an entire month. As you checked out at the register, you felt a hand wrap around your shoulder.
He was speaking in Korean to the woman at the register and it seemed like they were talking about you. As Driver Kim gathered your bags and placed them in the car, you and Jumin slid into the back seat.
"What did you say about me?" You asked, curious.
"She said you were lucky to be taken care of so well. I merely said that you deserved it." Jumin reported back. This wasn't the entire truth however. What had happened was she asked what you did to deserve being so spoiled. He had said that you had agreed to marry him. A harmless white lie, really, but it was kind of fun for him to talk like that. And now, you would have beautiful clothes to wear around his house, as if you really were his wife.
