A Letter for Mark || Markbam

14th Chapter

Bambam's POV

At half past seven, our group headed towards the waiting van outside our dorm. I walked in haste so that Mark couldn't talk to me. At breakfast, I could feel him staring at me but thank God, he ate in silence.

I sat beside Yugyeom at the back but was surprised when Mark sat beside me. Youngjae usually occupied that seat. I looked for him and saw that he sat beside Jaebum.

My heart started to beat fast. I didn't know how I could evade Mark. I knew he wouldn't stop teasing me and I was so filled with regret because of my impulsive act that morning.

I put on my ear phones so that I could listen to music, also, so that Mark would leave me alone.

Suddenly, one of the ear piece was pulled out from my ear. Of course, it was Mark getting my attention. I looked at him, and he was giving me a lopsided smile.

"Well..." he whispered, " I'm not yet done with you."

"Hyung, please..."

"Please what?"

"Please, just forget _____"

"No." He cut me off.

"What are you talking about?" Jinyoung, who's in front of us, looked back.

"Bambam took something from me without asking permission..." Mark seriously replied.

At that point, I felt so agitated, nervous that he would divulge what happened. Jinyoung looked at me and said,

"Just return what you have taken, Bam. That's the most polite thing to do."

"I intend to get it back... tonight."
Mark said, looking at me thoughtfully.

I looked down at my lap and couldn't think of what to say.

Finally, we reached our destination.  I walked along Yugyeom, not wanting Mark to tag me.

"Bam, what did you take from Mark hyung?"

Oh, my! I thought Yugyeom didn't hear us.

I tried to come up with an answer when suddenly, from behind us, Mark said,

"(Looking at Yugyeom) Bambam took something which is precious to me. And I'm telling you Bam, ( looking at me), you have to replace it ten times more, clear?"

Then he overtook us, whistling happily.

"What is it?"Yugyeom, full of curiosity, asked me.

"It's something precious to him, as he said. Don't ask, ok? Coz I really don't know why  I  have to replace it ten times."

"Why won't you tell me? What could be so precious to Mark hyung to demand that you replace it that much?"

"He doesn't want you to know, so leave it at that."

I was kind of relieved that Mark kept our secret but I knew that when he got the chance, he would bug me about it.

(At the Studio)

Mark's POV

Our boss, JYP, informed us of our future schedule which included release date of our new album, tv guestings to promote it, fan meetings and concerts.

After those activities, he told us that we would be taking a short break and  go to Phuket in Thailand to have some relaxation, and probably shoot some parts for the first episode of the new season of our reality show.

All seven of us cheered to hear the good news. Although, it wouldn't be a total vacation for we had to do some shooting, still, it would be nice to take a trip and relax for a few days.

Going back to Bambam, I was really having the time of my life seeing him so confused and worried.  I can probably blackmail him to give me something to keep our secret.

"Mark!"

I saw that everybody was looking at me. I didn't realize that I spaced out.

"Yes, Manager hyung.."

"You're not paying attention.  I was saying that the three of you, rappers, brainstorm on the rap lines of the last track and see if you can improve on it coz the boss thinks that you can do better than that. No offense meant of course."

"Oh, ok hyung. I'm sorry for not listening."

Then, our manager, continued with his discussion addressing the vocal lines.

Jackson nudged me.

"Hey Mark, whatever's on your mind must be happy thoughts."  He laughed.

"Hmmm..They're actually entertaining." I replied with a chuckle.

I knew from the way Jackson looked at me that he was curious but he did not ask me.  When I did not elaborate, he simply shrugged and told me that we must join Bambam to work on our rap lines.  And that's how we spent part of our morning.  When we were satisfied with what we've done, we presented it to our group so they can critic it.

Sorry for this boring chapter and a poor story line.  I have no idea how the music world works, so I wrote about Amerithaikong revising the rap lines when they were on the verge of releasing the album, I was thinking that they could still record just for that particular track. Just my wild guess, hope you forgive me if I 'm wrong.
