Roy's POV:
She walks in, in a a beautiful black coat, her hair down, as I like it.
The way she walked, so graceful, made me shiver. She has a bit of makeup on, not that she needs it.
She's the most beautiful girl in Central.
Then I remember. I'm holding a cocktail. She'll think that I'm weak, can't hold any real liquor, and meet some other guy in this bar.
Before she sees me, I gulp it down, chilli powder burning my throats along with the alcohol.
She seems to have figured out the no coat rule. She takes it off with a sigh and reveals a truly holy sight.
The black dress she's wearing is truly amazing. The neckline is just high enough to not be slutty, yet just low enough to be hot.
The skirt of the dress is the opposite. It's low enough not to be slutty, but high enough to be hot.
She is so beautiful, I can't stand it.
I walk up to her, with a smile on my face that I can't contain
"Riza, I must say, you look, um, beautiful tonight." I say, trying to maintain confidence.
She smiles a bit.
"You look nice too, Colonel."
"No need for formalities here. Just call me Roy. In fact, call me that at work too. I don't mind, as long as I can call you Riza."
I stare at her hopefully.
"I'd like that."
We both smile and head to the bar.
"What can I get you, Riza? First drinks on me."
She looks at me.
"What do you recommend, Roy?" She says, batting her eyelashes, unintentionally sexy.
"Um, I like beer, but I don't know if you like it, or if you want a cocktail?"
She laughs. That's good right?
"Oh, Roy, that's beginners stuff. Let's order a few shots. Unless you're scared?"
I gulp. Is she challenging my alcohol tolerance?
I smile.
"First one to pass out wins?" She asks.
"Alright, but I should warn you, I've never been beaten in a drinking war." I reply.
"That's cause I never come to these things." She retorts back.
Our first round comes.
I forgot that I'd had that cocktail before. This could throw me off.
I swallow the burning liquid and splutter.
"No matter how many times, still disgusting, right?"she asks.
"Amen." I reply.
This is gonna be a long night.
Riza's POV:
I walk in, and see him chugging down the cocktail. He's gonna be so drunk.
He's dressed casual yet beautiful, and I can see his muscles even better from here.
Ok, focus, Riza.
He walks up and he's smiling. I haven't seen him smile since when we were kids.
"Riza, I must say, you look, um, beautiful tonight." He says.
I smile back at him.
"You look nice too, Colonel." I reply.
"No need for formalities here. Just call me Roy. In fact, call me that at work too. I don't mind, as long as I can call you Riza."
I scream internally.
"I'd like that."
He leads me to the bar.
"What can I get you Riza? First drink's on me." He asks
"What do you recommend, Roy?" I say, accidentally batting my eyelashes.
"Um, I like beer, but I don't know if you like it, or if you want a cocktail?"
I laugh.
"Oh, Roy, that's beginners stuff. Let's order a few shots. Unless you're scared?" I challenge.
He gulps quietly, then gives me an evil glare.
"First one to pass out wins?" I ask.
"Alright, but I should warn you, I've never been beaten in a drinking war." He replies.
"That's cause I never come to these things." I joke back.
The first round comes.
I can see in his face that he just realized that the cocktail will throw him off.
We tilt our heads back and swallow the burning liquid.
"No matter how many times, still disgusting, right?" I ask
"Amen." He replies.
This is gonna be a long night.
