Chapter 17.

Roy's POV:

They all start laughing.

"Why would you want to kill us? We, the lowly homunculi who ravage your political outcomes and start wars for fun, only want to destroy the human race and take over this world." Lust says sarcastically.

I gasp.

Whoever made them this time must have made them stronger.

But that is no matter. I can still defeat them.

I leap over the hospital bed and snap my fingers. The flames come soaring out, like waves of blazing inferno.

The homunculi are surrounded by the flame. Any normal human would be long dead, but not them.

They all scream in agony. Not even homunculi are immune to pain.

I stop. Their torched bodies are already beginning to heal.

"That all you got, Mustang?" Lust asks.

I growl. What else can I do?

All of a sudden a sharp pain shoots through my shoulder, right above my heart.

I here Riza let out a whimper.

"Poor Mustang, he only just go reunited with his family, and now he's going to die." smirks Lust.

I can here Havoc holding Riza as she tries to stop them. I can hear her muffled screams.

"Before you kill me, Miss Ultimate Spear, tell me what you're going to do with Riza." I snap at her.

"Well, we know that you are the most powerful state alchemist to date, tied with the Fullmetal kid. And what makes us think that? You know the secrets of Flame Alchemy. We heard a rumour going around saying that the formulas and secrets were tattooed on her back. So, our master wants us to bring her to him so he can learn the secrets of Flame Alchemy, and become the most powerful alchemist there has ever been."

I stare at them, and then I start to laugh.

They look at me with puzzles expressions.

"What is it? What's so funny??!!!" screams Envy.

"I-Ha Ha Ha- I burned the formulas off her back a long time ago! Ha ha! She doesn't even remember them!" I say with a smile.

They look at each other, the Lust steps forward.

"Then you're just gonna have to come with us, sweetheart." She says sweetly.

I look down and see Jeans hand against Riza's mouth. I can hear her faint muffled protests, but this can't be helped.

"If I go with you, and teach your master about the secrets of Alchemy, what will you do with it? What's your overall plan?" I ask.

"Well, obviously, we want to take over Amestris, and maybe even Xing, but specifically, we're going burn down all major military posts instead of take them over. Overtaking stuff is so much work, as you could see from last time. So, we should just burn them! And then, the truly evil part is..."

"Envy!!! What have we said? No revealing the plan this time! You forgetful cross-dressing palm tree!!"

"SHUT UP GREED! NO ONE LIKES YOU!!"

He smirks.

"Anyways, we need you. Come with us, and no one in this room gets hurt."

I look down at Riza and Kallie. Could their safety really be guaranteed? Could I trust the reincarnations of the seven deadly sins to leave my family alone?

I've made my decision.
