9 - Always be There

Daniel gave me a piggyback to get into his apartment, because I still feel a little bit dizzy. He then prepared some clothes for me to change.

"I have filled the tub with hot water. Here's a towel and some clothes. Hmm also, please don't lock the door", he said before I went into the bathroom. His cheeks were so red, I could see he was hesitating to say that. "I mean, just to make sure I can quickly save you if something happen", he explained.

I was about to tease him, but I knew that he said that out of concern (or not, either way, I don't mind), so I didn't. "Okay", I replied with a smile. I could see his face was in shock, he didn't think that I would just agree like that.

After I took off my clothes, I wrapped my body with the towel, and sat on the edge of the tub with my feet inside the tub. The dizziness came back and I grabbed the edge of the tub tightly. I wanted to call him, but my voice didn't come out. Suddenly, I could feel the bathroom door is open.

"Hey, are you okay?" he asked while walking towards me slowly. I couldn't move, nor open my mouth to answer him.  He put his hands on my shoulders and asked me again if I'm okay. I'm surprised that I could still feel chills run down my spine when he touched me in this kind of situation.

"How is it that you always know that I'm in trouble? Thank you for always be there for me", I finally managed to get some words out of my mouth and chuckled lightly. He hugged me from behind and kissed my exposed shoulder making me whimper.

"Do you want me to help you?" he asked. He was completely red and I could feel the heat of his cheek on my shoulder. I sprinkled some water on his face playfully.

"You're a sly fox yourself. But yeah, I think I do need your help. Could you please help me wash my hair?" I said. I started to feel the heat on my cheeks. After he washed my hair, I said thank you, and asked him to leave so I could finish my bath.

"Are you sure you can do it? You don't want me to help you with the rest of it? I'm sure I'll do a great job" he asked with a grin.

"Get out silly. You're unbelievable", I said with a chuckle. I somehow regain some energy back and finished my bath. I took the clothes that he gave me. It was a simple white T-shirt and shorts. Of course it has to be white, that pervert. As I wore his clothes, I realized that he's so big. His clothes is so baggy on me, good thing the shorts has a rope for me to tighten.

As I got out of the bathroom, he was already waiting in front of the door. He looked at me, and his jaw dropped.

"What?" I asked while drying my hair with a towel.

"What? Wait. Hmm. No. I was just. Mmm. Nothing. Ah, don't dry your hair, let me do it", he said stuttering with eyes still on me.

"Hahaha. Why are you stuttering? Did you do something wrong?", I said teasing him.

"No. I. Didn't do anything. It's just that. You looks so sexy in my clothes and your wet hair", he said finally looking down slowly. I could feel the heat on my cheeks. I walked towards him and grabbed his chin to look at me.

"You don't look so bad yourself. And thank you" I said as I gave him a quick peck on the lips. He's red like a crab. Then he hugged me tight.

"Ooh, are you shy sweetie? I didn't know you have this side on you. You're cute" I said while patting his head.

"This is not fair. Stop teasing me. I'm not cute. I'm sexy." he said while planting his head on my chest. I could still see his red ears.

"Well congratulations! You're both cute and sexy. That's why I can't resist you" you said still patting his head. "Come on. Help me dry my hair, so I can finally sleep, before I passed out" I continued. He finally let go and dry my hair. Then he took a bath after he put me on bed.

"No, please, open the door, I can't breathe" I murmured in my dreams. Although I forgave Lucy, the horror of being locked in that dark tiny room was still very much present.

"Hey, hey, baby, are you okay? It's alright. I'm here. You're safe with me", Daniel said while hugging me tightly on his arm and kissed my forehead.

I hugged him back and put my head on his chest. His naked chest? He's shirtless? Wow this guy has some nerves. He's not scared of what this dizzy lady is capable of. Hahaha. I was so amazed with myself. I could still think of these kind of thoughts right now. My mind should be applauded indeed.

I felt so safe in his arms, we both finally passed out. I was glad I decided to stay with him today.
