I bought a juice can from a nearby vending machine to cool myself down. However, someone who was clearly tired of living, decided to snatch it from me, right before I was about to take a sip. And guess what? It was Kang Daniel, the beautiful guy from the library.

"God, he's so hot," my mind was starting to get wild again as soon as I saw his red and plumpy lips touched the rim of the juice can.

I couldn't believe myself, watching him drink was enough to set me off. I found it really sexy when his adam's apple was juggling up and down as he was drinking the juice, gulp by gulp.

"Seriously!? Again!?" I scolded myself inside when I realized that I was literally drooling over him.

I slapped my cheek hardly to regain my senses urgently.

"What the hell?! It could've cut my lips!" I glared at him.

"Don't worry, library buddy. I'd never let anything cut that pretty lips of yours, except for mine," his eyes were locked on mine as he was wiping the trace of the juice on his lips.

I gulped hardly when my throat suddenly became dry, and my body temperature was rising. Not sure if it was because I was blushing or mad.

"He's really annoying! Why in the world would I even think for one second that he's cute and hot? Well, not that it'd make him any less hot or something. I mean seriously, he's flaming hot. Really? Why do I keep thinking about him this way? I really need to calm my ass down, quickly!" I started to panic inside.

I sighed loudly. "Fine, you can take that one, it's on me. Nice to meet you, but I hope this is the last time, that we'll see each other ever again. Goodbye!" I tried to make it sounds as nice as I could. Then I grabbed another juice can, and walked away quickly.

I walked beside a river near campus, to clear my mind. Then I sat on a nearby bench, watching water flowing, grass swaying, and leaves falling. It's so calm and peaceful. The weather was also exceptionally nice, not too hot, not too cold, enough breeze. I inhaled the air as I closed my eyes.

When I opened my eyes, I noticed the juice can from the vending machine, then I curled a smile. "I think I was pretty harsh to the guy from the library," I said to myself.

"What are you smiling at? Is there something funny about the can?" said someone.

And just like that, out of nowhere, the guy from the library, suddenly appeared beside me, again. It scared the shit out of me.

"Hey! Could you please stop scaring me? Or at least give me a notice or something, next time you plan to pop out of nowhere. I don't think my heart is safe if you keep doing this" I said while huffing and holding my chest tightly. I thought my heart was going to burst.

"Hahaha. You're so jumpy. Don't worry, I'll keep your heart safe with me, baby girl. So it means you still want to see me again?" he asked as he looked at me.

"What did he just call me? Baby girl?" I asked in my mind.

My heart skipped a beat and I felt the heat on my cheeks.

"Wait, that's not what's important here. How did he even know I'm here? Is he stalking me?" I had so many questions in my mind, but none of them got out.

"Hey, do you have a fever? You're blushing every time I saw you," he asked as he leaned in and put his hand on my forehead.

My eyes grew wide. I was shocked by his sudden gestures. He looked so good up close. My heart and feet melted when I looked at his concern eyes.

"Please stop. I think I'm not really good with surprises," I begged while tightening the grip on my chest.

"I don't think my heart can take it anymore. He's too hot to handle," I said in my mind.

Then he burst into laughter "Hahaha. You're so cute, I can't," he laughed until small tears came out of his eyes for laughing too hard. "Alright alright. I'll be more gentle next time," he said as he held my hands.

"Gosh, everything he does, make me blush. Damn you!" I said in my mind.

Suddenly, out of nowhere, a stray cat approached him. He smiled happily from ear to ear, as he greeted the cat, and played with it. "He's so cute. I want to bite him. Gosh, mind control, mind control! My brain doesn't seem to work properly around this guy," I wondered in my mind.

"Do you like cats?" I asked him.

"I don't like them. I LOVE them," he answered playfully. Cheeky bastard.

"Hey, I think you should keep the cat. It seems to have the same hobby as you," I suggested.

"It does?" he looked puzzled.

"Yeah. Hobby popping out of nowhere," I answered nonchalantly.

"I know it's corny as hell, but let's go with it," I thought.

Both the guy and the cat glared at me unamused.

"Oh God, they're so cute rawrrr," I said in my mind.

"By the way, I want to apologize for what I said. I think the pressure for not flunking my accounting class really gets to me," I said while looking at him in the eyes.

"Is that the course that you kept turning the page over and over again in the library?" he asked as he's avoiding my gaze.

"Yeah," I answered. "Wait, how do you know?" I looked at him puzzled.

"I'm surprised you didn't notice. I was practically watching you in the library," he confessed.

I gasped. "I knew it! I felt someone was watching me. But I didn't know it was you. I thought it was the library girl," I said. "Umm, so why were you watching me? Did I do something weird? Or was there something on my face?" I asked as I looked myself in a mirror.

"Because you're cute, that's why," he said as he looked at me in the eyes, then winked.

Once again, I was shocked. "Maybe I should really check myself to a nearby hospital. I don't think this is healthy, but I love it. Gaaah! I feel so attacked and defeated. What should I say next? This is so awkward," I wondered in my mind.

"The name is (y/n) by the way," I said.
