17 - Still Hurts

After my body was fully recovered, I decided to put all memories of Daniel behind me. I would still cry a day or two when it was unbearable, but most of the time I made myself do something so I wouldn't have time to think about him.

I finally found a class that really interest me. It's a writing class, the one that I have to turn my phone off. I know, boomer, but apparently taking my time off of my phone for a while really helped me think clearly.

If I don't have much to do, I always spent time in the loss and found room, writing. I know it's small, dark, and dusty, plus it has no reception. But, after I cleaned it up it doesn't look so bad anymore. I also spent some time to visit my Professor to check on my writing progress.

Third person P.O.V

"Guys, look at her! She's been there all day, she hasn't even moved! I'm afraid that she'd lay eggs or grow molds there. We really gotta do something" Lucy said to Lizzy and Seongwoo.

"I know right? When she's in my shop. She kept wiping every single nook of the shop, baking, sweeping, anything, you name it. She worked like a robot. I felt really bad, I even considering to give her a raise, or something" Lizzy said.

"It was also the same in class. She was gazing right into the board and the teacher, I thought she's gonna shoot a laser beam from her eyes. This is bad. She could literally turn into a living zombie at this rate. By the way, have any of you heard about Daniel?" Seongwoo asked.

"Hhhh. he's no better. He hasn't come to my shop in ages, so couple days ago I decided to visit his dance place, and I heard his teacher was begging him to stop practicing or he could die. He's getting thinner too." Lizzy said.

The three of them were wondering what happened.

As Seongwoo was walking back to his apartment, he saw a body laying in front of Daniel's apartment.

"God, what is it with me and fainting body. Seriously!" Seongwoo sighed.

When he got closer, he turned the body, it was Daniel. "Boy, his body is flaming. I gotta bring him to the hospital" Seongwoo said.

Then suddenly Daniel opened his eyes and asked "Hey, what are you doing here?"

"I'm saving your life, that's what. Come on, get up! I can't drag this huge body of yours to the hospital." Seongwoo said.

"No, please don't take me to the hospital. I just want to be home." Daniel insisted.

Seongwoo helped him to get into the house and put him on the bed.

"God you're heavy" Seongwoo said while crackling his body.

"It's all muscle dumb ass. Of course it's heavy" Daniel said while flexing his muscles.

"Fine fine, whatever you say". Seongwoo said.

Suddenly Daniel hugged a pillow beside him tightly and said "You know this is where I usually sleep with (y/n) and Kitty" they're both so fluffy.

"Stop stop. I don't need to hear what deed you guys did on that bed", Seongwoo said.

"Don't worry, we never did it on the bed, yet. We only did it in the car, until I left her for that damn competition" Daniel said.

"Are you drunk?" Seongwoo asked.

"Nooooo. I'm not drunk. Look! I'm fineeee" he said while trying to get up but failed and fell back to his bed. He's clearly drunk.

Seongwoo called Lucy and asked her what should he do.

"Just call (y/n), and tell her to take care of him because we have a date" Lucy said.

"Wait, you're going to have a date ... with me?" Seongwoo asked hesitantly, his cheeks were blushing.

"Why? You don't want it?" Lucy asked.

"No no no. Of course I do. Alright I'll call her right away" Seongwoo panicked. Real friend Seungwoo. Real friend.

"Hey. Look, when I was on my way home, I saw Daniel was drunk and unconscious in front of his apartment. But, Lucy and I are having a date, so could you please help me to take care of him? Thanks! You're the best!" Seongwoo said without giving you a chance to speak and ended the phone abruptly.

End of Third person P.O.V

"Wait, Seongwoo! You know I can't go there, Halo, Seongwoo, Halo! He hung up on me. Damn it Seongwoo, you're so dead" I said.

"Kitty, what should I do? I can't just let him like that, can I? But I don't want to go there. What if I breakdown again?" I asked her as she snuggled, then she suddenly jumped out of the bed and waiting in front of the door.

"What? Do you want to see him?" I asked and she meowed.

"Alright, I'll go, but just because you miss him. It has nothing to do with me" I said to her.

As I arrived, Seongwoo was already waiting on the door, and I shot the deadliest glare on him.

"Ah come on! Don't you want to cheer me with Lucy? This is my chance!" Seongwoo begged.

"Alright alright. Just go" I said. "Good luck!" I continued and waved him goodbye.

I checked on Daniel, he was reeking alcohol. I changed his clothes and cleaned him up, then suddenly Kitty jumped on the bed and licking his cheek.

"What are you doing Seongwoo? Wait, you're not Seongwoo. Oh. Aren't you Kitty and (y/n)? Haha the very people that I missed the most. Why are you here? Did Seongwoo call you? Are you guys dating? " he ranted.

"Good, now he's awake Kitty" I said while glaring at her.

"Hhhh. All of this wouldn't happen if I had the courage to snatch you from him. Why did I have to see you giggling with him that day. The day I need you the most. The day I lost the competition. When I felt so little compared to you. I thought you guys looked so good together, so I couldn't move and just assume that you cheated on me" he continued.

I was shocked, but I couldn't say anything.

Then Darcy bought me home, she spilled her drink on her clothes. Then you came and saw her naked in the bathroom. Kitty bit her, then you almost slapped her, and I was just still so mad so I grabbed your hands like that. I didn't even notice that you sprained your wrist." he continued.

I hold back my tears. Now you know what made him act that way, but it doesn't change the fact of what he did. It still hurts, and I don't want to remember it.

"Shhh, just sleep okay" I said as I put a blanket on him.

I got Kitty and went to the kitchen, then prepared a hangover soup that I brought from home and leave his apartment.
