Warning: This chapter might be triggering Melanie's POV: I climbed down the steps. Everything hurt. I was scared. I was running around the big halls. I heard a baby screaming. "Don't worry baby, I'm coming!" I ran faster. I checked every room. I saw one at the very end of the hall and opened it. There was my baby cousin Owen, my mom, and.... "Josh?" I asked. He was talking to my mom, doing nothing about Owen's screaming. "Josh?!" I screamed. "We have to do something." He mumbled. My mom laughed then nodded. I was trembling. "Josh, what's going on?!" I screamed. He just stared at Noah until my mom came back with a knife. "Hush little baby." Josh sang. My mom handed him the knife. He took it. "Don't you cry." He rose it up slightly. I ran towards him. "In Heaven you'll be alri-" ______________________________________ I woke up screaming and in tears. I looked around. Josh came rushing in. "Go away you monster!" I screamed. I grabbed a pillow and cried into it. "M-Mel what's going on? You were just napping on the couch and now I'm a monster?" "It m-must have been a night t-terror. I'm sorry Joshy." "What happened?" He sat by me and wrapped his arms around me. "I was walking downstairs a-and I heard my c-c-cousin Owen was screaming and crying. I found him, and you were th-there. S-so was my m-mom. You took a knife from her and y-y-you stabbed Owen. You stabbed him!" I started sobbing. I cried into his shoulder. "Shhhh. Baby girl, it was just a nightmare. I promise, I would never do anything like that. I'll go make us some hot coco ok?" I nodded and looked into his eyes, they were sincere. Soft. I was comforted. He went into the kitchen and I layed back down. Josh's phone buzzed. Snap from Debby💀 Wait....isn't that his ex? Why was she snapping him?
