Tyler's POV:
Josh and I were in his room after school.
"So what's up with this Marina girl?" I asked him sitting on his bean bag.
"She's nice."
"She flirty?" I needed my research.
"Not in my opinion, but Taylor had a big uproar about it in band."
I just made a mhm sound. Would now be a good time to bring up Mel?
sickasfrick: Mel is it ok if I tell Josh that Marina used to bully you? Nothing about why you had to move here?
mellybby95:(quick a/n yeah in the "shed" chapter I accidentally used the wrong username I'm so sorry.) Sure.
I sighed and put my phone away.
"Yknow Josh, Mel used to know Marina." He turns his head to me.
"Really? Oh they must be great friends."
"Well-"
"Oh my god we have to get them to meet up!"
"Josh-"
"It's gonna be great!"
"No-"
"Does Mel even know she's in town?"
"That's-"
"I gotta text her right now!"
"Josh listen the frick up!" I finally yell at him. His smile fades away.
"They weren't really friends." I rub the back of my neck.
"Well they can certainly makeup."
"Not really."
"Why?"
"Well for one reason you were flirting with Marina in band."
"No I wasn't."
"Yes you were! Melanie flipping saw!" I stood up in anger.
"H-how did you know that?" I sighed.
"Melanie came to my study hall all upset, I skipped class and talked with her. She was upset that you and this Marina chick were flirting." Now he stood up.
"Oh so my girlfriend came to you?"
"Yeah so what? We weren't doing anything we were just talking."
"Oh really is that so?" He shoved me a little.
"What the heck is up with you?"
"Well sorry I'm overprotective about my girlfriend."
"You wouldn't have to be if you weren't flirting with someone that she doesn't like right in front of her." I shoved him this time.
"Oh. Well sorry if I accidentally flirted without catching myself. I'm not perfect you know!"
"Have I ever flirted any time girls would come up and talk to me while dating Jenna? No, and I've been dating that girl for about 2 years. You and Mel? Two months, and look at you! You shouldn't have to catch yourself because you shouldn't be doing it anyway you flipwad!"
"Well sorry I'm not as fucking perfect as you! You know you act like your so big, you aren't even grateful that your parents have never ever been disappointed in you once in your fucking pathetic life!" That's where it crossed the line.
"What do you mean never disappointed?! What about when I swore in church because mt brother tricked me, and every single person heard. How about when I threw a knife through the window and broke it? Oh and how about when my parents got a call home from the school counselor because the school caught their fucking sixth grade son cutting himself in the bathroom with a piece of glass!? If I'm so pathetitic, then why did you ever waste your time on being my friend?!" I screamed at him. I was crying.
"Tyler I'm-"
"No! To hell with your sorry! I'm leaving." This is the first time I've sworn in years. I stormed out of that house, and I went right next door. When I knocked Melanie opened it and let me in generously.
