A few months have passed since I had the blackout incident.
Mikey and I have slowly gone back to being close over the past two months. He has been so helpful and caring towards me. He even comes to just about all of my appointments.
He apparently broke up with his girlfriend not too long after I got out of the hospital the second time. Deep down I was happy but I didn't know what was next for us.
Since then we've exchanged kisses every now and then when no one is around but nothing too serious considering I was also still pregnant. Neither of us knew if we should be just friends or try to be something more again.

Today I had an appointment to determine the sex of the baby and Mikey and I were beyond excited. At first I was going to wait but the anticipation was too great.
I received a text from Mikey saying he was here waiting for me. So after finishing getting ready I grabbed my phone and hobbled down the stairs. It was like when I cut my foot all over again.
"Ready?" Mikey asked when I came down the stairs.
"Guess so" I sighed.
"I never thought you two would willingly be in the same room together again" Charlie said laughing.
"He can't get enough of me that's why" I joked rolling my eyes.
Mikey just looked at me not saying anything while Charlie laughed.
He then grabbed his phone and keys from the counter as we walked out the door.
After closing it we walked over to his car to get in. Before he opened the passenger side he whispered into my ear "I'll never be able to get enough of you"
This sent immediate chills down my spine and not just because it was cold outside.
"We're going to be late I don't have time for your fuckery come on" I sassily said sitting down in the seat.
After shutting the door he walked over to his side getting in also.

Around twenty minutes later we arrived to my doctors and walked into the office "Name?" the receptionist asked.
"Aryana" I said.
She searched through the computer and looked up to me smiling "I see you're here for the gender reveal"

I smiled back to her "Have a seat the doctor will be out shortly" she pointed to the waiting area.

We both were about to sit down but then my doctor came out from the back"Hi Aryana follow me on back" I nodded and the three of us walked back to an examination room.

"So you're here to find out the gender of your baby correct?" he asked after closing the door.

"Yep"I responded.

"Well then let's get you all set" he said turning on a machine next to the bed.

The excitement kept growing and growing.

I lifted up my shirt a bit so the doctor could apply the Ultrasound gel.

When he ran the device over my swollen stomach we began to see an image on the screen along with a heartbeat.

My heart instantly warmed at the sound of it. I looked over to see Mikey nearly in tears.

I then interwined my fingers with his "This is your fetus and it turns out that you are having....a....babyboy congratulations" the doctor informed us smiling.

I was at a loss for words I had wanted to cry out in happiness.

When I looked at Mikey he couldn't stop smiling even if he wanted to.
