My One and Only

Chapter XX

Although my visit in Jersey was fun I had to get back home. Hailey and I bought our tickets the night before and we were ready to go leave the next morning.

Of course my alarm rudely woke me up, this time at 4am. I was too lazy to get up to wakeup Hailey so I grabbed my pillow throwing it at her.

She immediately sat up confused "It's time to get up dumbass" I said sitting up to rub my eyes.

"And don't go back to sleep because I WILL leave you here" I reminded her.

She groaned finally getting up "Fuck you"

We packed our stuff up the night before so we didn't have to do it this morning.

Jake's mom offered to drive us to the airport so when we went downstairs she was already up.

"Morning girls" she greeted.

"Early ass morning" I said making her laugh.

"We'd better get going do you guys want anything to eat?" she asked.

"No, thank you"

"Passsssss" we said.

We then began loading up the car with our luggage and not too long after we got into the car, off to the airport.

Nearly 15 minutes later we arrived so after parking we grabbed our stuff once again and headed into the area before security.
"I guess this is it" I said looking at Jake's mom.

"Oh I will really miss you girls but it was really fun having you here" she said hugging the both of us.

"We'll miss you more thank you for letting us stay with you we really appreciate it" I said smiling.

"Anytime hun" she smiled back.

"And If Jake gives you trouble again don't hesitate to let me know" she said to Hailey.

"Will do" she said laughing.

We then grabbed our bags and started for the line to go through security.

Before stepping through we looked back waving to Jake's mom.

After passing through security and completing all of the other complicated tasks to ride and airplane we were finally boarding.

We found our seats and I of course immediately called dibs on window seat.

"You ass" she mocked at me.

I looked at her with a childish smile.

"Good morning passengers and thank you for flying with Virgin America Airlines" said the flight attendant.

She then bored us with safety rules and what to do in the case of an emergency.

After about 10 minutes of that we were told to buckle up and we finally took off for L.A.

My plan was to sleep for the whole trip because there wasn't much else to do. So I grabbed my mini travel pillow and put it underneath my neck. I had trouble falling asleep at first but I somehow drifted off to sleep.
