The Other World

Chapter Two: Day Two

I had the same dream but it didn't end with me blacking out. Instead of the wolf running away from me it carried me on his back. It let me ride it and then it took me to a pack of wolfs and they all had green glowing eyes. There were black wolfs, brown wolfs some with multiple colours and they all got along fine. The wolf knelled down so I stepped off and I look around and notice that every wolf is now kneeling down at my feet. I walk over to a river to look at my reflection but it's not me it's a wolfs reflection. The wolf is white with glowing green eyes but it feels like me. I fall into the water and wake up to my alarm. I slammed the alarm hard and then Change into a red shirt. I throw on some black ripped jeans and tie my hair up in a high ponytail. I walk out with my black leather jacket but before I left I looked at my watch to make sure I wasn't late for cheerleading practice. I was just about to leave when my mum calls out for me.
"Honey um...why were you at the late room yesterday?".
"What do you mean?" I question.
She rolls her eyes and crosses her arms, "yesterday Damon said that you left your jacket in the late room" she explains.
"Well I was late that is all," I tell her.
"Don't be late again or you're grounded!" She yells as I slowly start to walk away.

I was slowly passing Damon's house when he walks out and then jogs to me with a smile.
"Wow, you're early," I say to tease him.
"haha, your very funny, gorgeous" he sarcastically replies.
He throws his arm over my shoulders and stares at me with a smile. I stare back at his bright green eyes, something about those eyes that seem so familiar to me. They sparkle with the sun reflecting off them and that makes them glow more.
"Are my eyes that gorgeous?" He asks with a wink.
I push his arm off my shoulders and then shove him away.
He walks back up to me then leans forward and whispers in my ear "you asked for it".
As soon as he said that he tickled my hips. I start to run to school but then he starts to chase me. When we reach school we both stop and stare at each other with smiles on our faces.
"Hey!" Shouts Ashlee while she gives me a big friendly hug. "Oh shoo..go away" ordered Ashlee while waving her hands at Damon, like she was shooing a fly.
He rolls his eyes and walks away, I watch him walk away and then he glances back at me with a smirk.
"Why?" She asked me.
"He's my neighbour and he isn't as bad as you think" I explain to her.
"He gross and not a good person to be around," She tells me with a disgusted look on her face.

We headed to science and looked at the board to see who we were sitting next to and where we were sitting. I spotted Jordan sitting next Ashlee and then I spot my name next to Damon's name. I walk over to our table and sat down waiting for class to start. Damon walks into class and looks at the board then slowly walks to the table with a smile.
"I must be the luckiest girl," I say to Damon sarcastically.
"Make sure you don't get to distracted by this hot devil," He says flirting while winking at me.
I roll my eyes. He then puts his arm over my shoulders and then I roll my eyes again and pick his arm up and drop it off my shoulders.
"Okay class I'm Mr Smith and I will be your science teacher" he explains to the class while wondering around the room.
"Now you have to do an after-school project so I have partnered you up," he says.
He starts naming people who are together, Ashlee gets a partnered with Brice and Jordon is partnered with Hannah.
"Okay and Damon is with Aliyah" he shouts with a grand voice.
Damon looks at me and then leans in my ear and whispers "hope you like doing work".
I roll my eyes then look at him.
"You better do work or I'm kicking your ass," I say while pretending to listen to the teacher.
"So your place or mine?" Ask Damon.
"Um, I'm busy maybe the weekend?" I ask him.
"Yea sure but why are you busy today?"
"Cheerleading practice" I explain to him.
As soon as Damon heard those words he looked at me shocked. Then checked me out again top to bottom.
"you're a cheerleader?" Says Damon.
"Why not?" I say annoyed.
I look at him waiting for an answer but he doesn't have one. He just throws his hands up in surrender.
When the bell rang Damon and I jumped because we sit right under the bell. I was just about to walk out the door when Damon pulls my hand and brings me to the side.
"you mind if I eat with you, gorgeous?" he says while holding my hand.
I wasn't sure if he was kidding.
"Don't worry, Ashlee won't kill you...in public," I explain. "She's smarter than that," I reminded him.
We walk to the cafeteria together while asking each other question about each other. I felt like we really connected.
